ESPN top 10 Should a slow breakaway dunk with no defenders be a top play when it's just a defensive breakdown or a fluke that gets the guy out in front, and would get a 7 or 8 in a dunk contest? I'll say 'Yes' because I like to be entertained I don't even bother to watch these.

I'll say 'Yes' because I like to be entertained I don't even bother to watch these. They're pretty much meaningless (don't hold much value if they're cheap) which it looks like you were alluding to
We had 2 horrific players here who were frequently in the Top 10 - Nerlens Noel and Richaun Holmes (they've improved a tad since they left) - they'd make the Top 10 because of a jaw dropping putback dunk or a blocked shot sent 10 rows into the stands - that was pretty much all they were good for - the occasional Top 10 Highlight Reel and brought little else to the table

The 2013 NBA Draft, topped by Anthony Bennett. www.basketball-reference.com/draft/NBA_2013.htmlEarly reports on Giannis With a slender frame, two-way impact and jump-shooting potential, Antetokounmpo reminds us of Portland Trail Blazers small forward Nicolas Batum. If his outside shot doesn't pan out, he would play more like Corey Brewer. By the time he's 21 or 22, Antetokounmpo could have a phenomenal stat sheet, something like 18 points, seven rebounds and four assists per game. bleacherreport.com/articles/1681251-giannis-antetokounmpo-picked-by-milwaukee-bucks-scouting-report-and-analysis"The Greek Freak" doesn't exactly have freakish athletic ability to go along with his nickname. Compared to some ‘freaks' in the NBA, Giannis Antetokounmpo might appear relatively normal. Giannis doesn't 'explode' out of the gym with his leaps and he won't blow past anyone with his speed either. That is not to say that Giannis doesn't have good athleticism -- he does -- but the ‘freak' nickname shouldn't fool anyone into thinking that he is an all-world athlete. Most likely, Giannis Antetokounmpo will be a solid-to-good role player like Nicolas Batum or Lamar Odom. Antetokounmpo will likely start his career at the shooting guard position until he puts on the muscle to play small forward. By that point, the Boston Celtics will hope that Jeff Green has the position solidified. www.celticsblog.com/2013/6/18/4442950/2013-nba-draft-prospect-profile-giannis-antetokounmpo-adetokoubo-adetokunbo-celticsNBA CEILING: Scottie Pippen (Please take this with a grain of salt. They're probably thinking LeBron will only play 55-60 games.

If the Warriors get a top 4 seed after going 15-50 (19-63 pace for a normal season) Steph will get the credit.

Holy Sh*t - I'm furious Per Shams - 'The Philadelphia 76ers have made Ben Simmons available in some packages with the Houston Rockets for James Harden, sources tell @theathleticnba @stadium. Conversations aren't fluid as of now.'
Look - Harden + Embiid = We'd win the title the next 2 years but Ben is 24 and Harden is 31
We'd be trading an All-Star who is going to be around for a decade plus for a couple of years of dominance and 2 titles and then it would be over

'While the Sixers have signaled a willingness to include All-Star guard Ben Simmons in trade packages for Harden, those talks have come nowhere close to a deal, sources said.'
'The Houston Rockets are increasingly expanding trade discussions on James Harden beyond his preferred destinations of Brooklyn and Philadelphia.'

Major deal in the works involving multiple teams-- sending Simmons to the Rockets for Harden, slop to OKC for Al Horford, and Shake Milton to Dairy Queen for an actual shake.
