Brenda has more oomph and would be easier to root for than Alice. Annie does seem like a sweetheart. She would be my fourth favorite character. My least favorite character is Steve Christy. I don't find him likable. I should have included Enos and the sheriff, too. I've seen the sheriff in other stuff. |

Mrs. Voorhees Crazy Ralph Ned I liked Ned, he had a sense of humor and his demise was unique. He was murdered and left out in plain sight but no one noticed or really even missed him.  |

One of the big problems I've found with the whole franchise is that I've never particularly liked any of the characters. Crispin Glover's was OK but only for the dancing. On a recent rewatch this was very apparent to me. The first film is ok with Brenda and Alice and Annie, the rest are fine too...and at least you don’t root against them much. The second film is also good with its cast I thought. The wheelchair guy and his love interest, as well as the comic relief guy that survives by staying in town. It’s the third film where I really started finding less redeemable traits in most of the victims. |
