I disliked that bright room with the daylight and missed the dark auditorium. It made the ceremony feel like it was happening on a Saturday morning. I didn't care about the background trivia read about some of the nominees before the winner was announced.

The Oscar really screwed up the end. They must have thought so sure that Boseman would win so they would end the show with tremendous sentimentality, thus switching the order of the lead acting and best picture. Hopkins win have them fell flat on their face. To add insult to injury, Hopkins didn't show up. They wrapped the show up very fast.
