Still have no idea what they're going to do with it, but I'm all in.

I know it's just a teaser, but that does not look good to me.

I think it's the first time I haven't got a buzz from an MCU trailer.

Yeah I don't blame people for not being into it. It's so far removed from the rest of the MCU, they felt they had to add that last scene referencing the Avengers. I'm highly intrigued but I'm also keeping my expectations in check.
I just hope it's not a disaster. The Eternals and the Inhumans are two of the most interesting properties MArvel has, it would be a shame if they both ended up being total failures. (Still holding out hope for an Inhumans reboot, though. The non-Disney+ tv shows have all been removed from the canon, right?)

Looks better than most MCU films, but also looks like recent Ridley Scott sci-fi films, intriguing but ultimately disappointing

Meh.
Where's the Jack Kirby influence, again?

I’m definitely interested. The history nerd in me loved seeing Babylon in a comic book movie trailer. I really like the idea of this one really filling in the cosmic mythology of the Marvel universe. And it’s clearly made by a very talented director.
Still though, something about it left me feeling really cold and unsatisfied. Maybe because we get almost no actual character moments. Or perhaps because it looks really drab with yet another muted color palette. Seriously when will color stop being the perceived enemy of freakin comic book movies?
And, as noted above by JudgeDredd, there should be A LOT more Kirby influence here. I wanna see that colorful Kirby sci-fi spectacle and we clearly ain’t getting it here. Gotta adjust my expectations, I guess.

Why are you bringing up the Fox X-Men films here?

It's a teaser trailer and it did its job without revealing too much. I am curious if that alien structure seen at the beginning is from the Celestials since the time period appears to be primitive.

I like the cinematography. For a teaser it was decent.
It did give me some Prometheus vibes with certain shots.

You know what the problem with this movie is? The characters lack individuality. This is the problem that Fox had with X-Men. Outside of standout characters like Wolverine, Xavier and Magneto, majority of the characters just didn't stand out.
That has always been something that the MCU was good at addressing despite having big ensemble casts. Every character seemed unique and interesting. Even GOTG which was an ensemble movie right from the beginning, all the characters was easily distinguishable from each other, from looks to attitude to powers, etc.
With the Eternals, I get that it's just a teaser at the moment, but the characters look completely interchangeable. From their generic, uniformed costumes to their lack of specialized personalities or powers that we can see.

It was ok. Maybe the next 'trailer' will do it for me. The triangular spaceship is so uninspired and looks very cheap
