I will see this sometime on the weekend or shortly after. I'm very excited to see this. If this can open 25M +, it will take the #1 spot. I've got to believe that it will be #1 next week.

Was looking at showtimes for Thursday and everything is already packed. I think this will clear 25 million +. I'm gonna try to go Thursday at midnight or Sat.

Looks like trash. Just another "white people are evil and poor blacks are victims" crapfest from hollywood. Only the lower intelligence crowd will see this.

I noticed there are only 5 reviews for it so far, and one of them said 'you're allowing us to write something?' and went off about them disabling the message boards, and that's got me thinking...usually when a new movie comes out you can find a lot of reviews for it, are there going to be considerably less now since a lot of people promised to delete their accounts?

Now 85 reviews and still at 100% with an 8.2/10 average rating.
This is unprecedented for a horror film, to the best of my recollection.

Wow 90 reviews and still at 100%, that's really unprecendented for any movie in general, let alone for a horror movie and a directorial debut. The last movie I can remember that had a 100% rating with 80/90 reviews or so is Arrival.

Wow, this is getting close to record-breaking numbers. The only two movies that, as far as I can remember, had 100% after 100 reviews or more are Man on Wire and Toy Story 2. Considering Man on Wire is documentary, this is 1 of only 2 movies to ever get 100% after 100 reviews.

I'm looking forward to it. Might go tonight or Monday. I'll let you know how it is. This was high on my anticipated list.

Excellent film. Balances horror and comedy perfectly without jarring tonal shifts.

Critics Consensus: Funny, scary, and thought-provoking, Get Out seamlessly weaves its trenchant social critiques into a brilliantly effective and entertaining horror/comedy thrill ride.
Now at 123 reviews and still at 100%. Its average rating even went up to 8.3/10.

Damn, wish I could see this tonight! Just not in the cards. If anyone sees this tonight, let us know if it lives up to the hype. I could see going in with high expectations and coming out disappointed if is just good.

As one user said, the film does balance humor and horror pretty well, but i wouldn't call it scary. Only thing I kind of was disappointed with is that come near the end, while still very entertaining, I felt like I was watching a Key and Peele sketch. It's a great debut, but now I really want to watch Peele direct a true white knuckle thriller/horror. Would say 8/10.

But there is also something to be said about a good old fashioned thriller/horror flick.

I just saw it and I really recommend it. It keeps you in suspense from beginning to end by making you wonder, "What in hell is going on here?" What exactly is going on turns out to be slightly absurd but it doesn't detract from a thoroughly enjoyable time at the movies. The occasional humor keeps you feeling safe and the social commentary is pretty brilliant.
