It would depend on which versions. But that's a discussion for another day. For now, please stick to the movie versions. How exactly do you think movie Batman will win against movie IM? Anti-iron Man spray. So you agree that he has nothing in his current arsenal that can take out IM?

So you agree that he has nothing in his current arsenal that can take out IM? Brute Force head on, shooting lasers? No, I concede. But that's not what he did with superman and certainly wouldn't be what he would do with iron Man. Send him in front of a truck, that worked in im3. Thank God Tony Stark wasn't inside that armor...

I could actually. Batman could easily beat Obadiah or Whiplash. Those little aliens or robots in The Avengers flicks could also be taken pretty easily. When it comes down to it, we're just going to pick whoever we like better. I like Batman more. I'm assuming you like Iron Man more. I think Batman would win, but I could easily see Iron Man winning as well. So you think Batman could go toe to toe with Thor in a fight? Or take on both Captain America and Winter Soldier? Or defeat Killian and his superpowered goons? How bout Ultron? How bout Hulk? I actually hate Ironman. I do hate Batman more. But the reason I'm taking IM's side is because from a pure objective stand point, he just has too many advantages over Batman. Maybe he wouldn't necessarily beat them all, but, yes, I believe he could gain a competitive advantage over and/or beat all of them.

How exactly is Batman going to get a competitive advantage over Thor in a random encounter? Remember we're using movie versions.

I'm gonna go with Batman too. He's probably more intelligent and cunning. He relies more on the ninja-style of stalking and fighting. he also knows martial arts and is a great fighter when it comes to hand-to-hand combat. Iron Man on the other hand is predictable in his fighting, he announces himself and just comes straight ahead. Besides, Stark isn't a skilled fighter. Even if you take away all of their gadgets and suits, Wayne could easily knock out Stark. Guess you didn't see the part in Civil War where IM outfought Cap. You guess wrong. I have seen Civil War a number of times. What's your point?

Iron Man is a smug little egotistical douchebag and Batman would use that against him. If it got close Batman would blast Ironman with booze and Stark would be offering to blow strangers for a bottle at which time Batman would put him out of his misery.

Batman, easily. One Bat-EMP would completely shut down the Iron Man suit.

Batman. Because it's personal for him. And as Frank Miller illustrated in his better years, Batman is fucking crazy at a certain point.

The Iron Man suit isn't EMP-proof and will get completely shut down by an EMP. In one of the comics Tony actually managed to make his suit EMP proof by using a strong alloy of Vibranium and Titanium. It may not be possible in real life but you need to remember that these are fictional characters and if in the fictional world Toby can make his suit EMP proof he can make it EMP proof, no exceptions. His older suits aren't EMP proof but his newer suits like the Asgardian, Celestial, Extremis and Bleeding Edge can withstand an EMP no problem.

If we are using comic versions, Batman would win rather easily. He would find the weakness in iron Man and have a plan to take him out the moment he knew about him. In the comics he has a plan to bring down every single one of the DC superheroes.

Batman usually wins because of plot convenience.

The Batman fanboyism is just ridiculous. What has Bruce built that even compares to an Iron Man armor? And Tony has no moral qualms about killing. He'd be annihilated.

Did you not read the OP that says all weapons are on the table? If Batman can get hold of kryptonite to use against Superman, then Batman can get hold of a mother box to use against Iron Man. The mother box can not only shut down the Iron Man suit but also opena boomtube and send Iron Man to Apokolips. Even if Tony Stark builds an EMP proof suit (which isn't possible), Iron Man's suits are definitely not mother box proof.
