I know I'll catch Hell for this, but my choice is Steve Austin. I should clarify by saying I mean WWE Austin compared to WCW Austin. WCW Austin seemed almost like the second coming of Ric Flair. He actually did seem multi-dimensional. When Austin went to WWF/E, all he did was come to the ring, stomp, kick, punch, kick to gut followed by the Stunner. And these are the people who constantly put down John Cena.

And these are the people who constantly put down John Cena. thank you. i've made similar comparisons in the past. i'm not doubting his impact on the business. i put him on the 'mount rushmore' we all like to talk about (depending mood) - always a fun debate. but as far as your point above. my personal problem with him was when he stopped wrestling. for years. here's the schtick finger kick stunner drink a beer. hey - i get it - it's how he made his bread and butter. and he was wildly over. but it always amazed me how people could bash Hogan - but we'd get the above at nausea from Austin. I typically go Top 5: 1) Hogan 2) Cena 3) Flair 4) Rock 5) Austin And typically inner change 3-5 at times..........
