I'd hardly call an 18 year NBA career where he was a 2X All-Star a blip on the radar
Also - Michael Jordan derailed Stack's career when they were with the Wizards
When the team should have been centered on Stack - in came MJ with his giant ego making everything about him
I know, which is why you don't know anything about basketball. A two time all star who accomplished nothing is not good enough to be a top 75 player. He also made the All-Rookie team
16.9 ppg 82% FT% for his career

I don't think you're giving Stack the credit he deserves
The NBA doesn't just do this for anybody and a blip on the radar.
The NBA produced this and dropped this little # on Youtube -

The NBA produced this and dropped this little # on Youtube - Yes they do. And you can spend the rest of the day posting Stackhouse clips, but you need to remember something: I'm not the one you need to convince because I didn't have a vote. Seems those in the know agreed with me on this one.

Would anybody like to say anything about Glen Rice, Jamal Mashburn and Derrick Coleman? Or Nate Thurmond, Neil Johnston, Maurice Stokes. Chauncey Billups, Tree Rollins, or Drazen Petrovic.

Would anybody like to say anything about Glen Rice, Jamal Mashburn and Derrick Coleman? Glen Rice should’ve been on there. Coleman if this was a top 100. Mashburn was great and a freak of nature. But only for a short span of his career then he faded into being above average. If he’s on there then you have to start arguing why isn’t Sharif Abdur-Raheem or Rasheed Wallace not on there.

So nice to finally have another basketball aficionado here who has an eye for talent - I loved Glen Rice
Others that should have been considered - RUN-TMC and Lethal Weapon 3!

16 guys on the list played for the Celtics, 16 for the Lakers. Shaq is on both lists.
Teams with 3 or more players.
1962-63 Celtics – Cousy, Havlicek, Jones and Russell 1972-73 Knicks – Frazier, Lucas and Reed 1980-81 Celtics – Archibald. Bird and McHale 1982-89 Lakers – Abdul-Jabbar, Johnson, Worthy 1996-97 Bulls – Jordan, Rodman, Pippen
Hard to tell if they are taking ABA years into consideration, as Erving and Barry likely get in regardless. Artis Gilmore (22.3 PPG, 17.1 RPG in the ABA)

Artis Gilmore (22.3 PPG, 17.1 RPG in the ABA) 20 former Celtics made the list. Though I wouldn't really count some of them as Celtics just because they played here at one point. Do you think of Shaq, Dave Bing, Dominique Wilkins, Pete Maravich or Gary Payton as Celtics? McAdoo's best accomplishment as a Celtic was being part of a trade that eventually landed us the #3 pick (Kevin McHale) and Robert Parish. Ray Allen Nate Archibald Dave Bing Larry Bird Bob Cousy Dave Cowens Kevin Garnett John Havlicek Sam Jones Pete Maravich Bob McAdoo Kevin McHale Shaquille O’Neal Gary Payton Robert Parish Paul Pierce Bill Russell Bill Sharman Bill Walton Dominique Wilkins Even still, if we're only counting players who made a significant impact while wearing the green, it's a hell of a list. Also the 2008 Celtics title team had three of the top 75. Garnett, Pierce, Allen.

It's easy enough for you and I to get this stuff wrong on a message board, you'd think people who are paid to disseminate this information could put a little more effort into it.

I think there are plenty of players who are rightfully associated with multiple teams. KG played in 'Sota a long time and he's a legend there. But he also was the centerpiece of a dominant championship run in Boston. A championship, two finals appearances, five all-stars and a DPOY award here. That's significant to his legacy as well as the Celtics'. Kareem is most definitely a Buck & a Laker. But listing Shaq as a Celtic is silly. He played 37 games here at the end of his career and didn't do much of anything.
