French actor and filmmaker Jacques Perrin has left us at the age of 80, on April 21st. He was twice Oscar nominated as a producer, Z 1969 (Best Picture) and Winged Migration 2001 (Best Documentary). His acting career took off in the early 1960's and appeared alongside Claudia Cardinale in the romantic comedy La Ragazza con la valigia 1961 and Marcello Mastroianni in Family Diary 1962. He then played several roles in films of Henri-Georges Clouzot ( The Truth in 1960) or Mauro Bolognini ( Corruption in 1963) and leading roles in four films by Pierre Schoendoerffer : La 317e Section 1965, Le Crabe-tambour 1977, A Captain's Honor 1982 and Là-haut, un roi au dessus des nuages 2004. He played in two musical movies by Jacques Demy : The Young Girls of Rochefort 1967 and Donkey Skin 1970, both with Catherine Deneuve. He also was the adult Salvatore in the international success Cinema Paradiso 1988. At 27, he created a film production company and produced and acted in Z 1969, directed by Costa-Gavras. and has produced another 57 movies (two still in production), both feature films and documentaries. As an actor he has acted in around 135 movies and television productions between 1946 (uncredited in Marcel Carne's Les portes de la nuit) and 2022. He is remembered by Infobae. R.I.P. Jacques Perrin

Thanks for remembering actor Robert Morse who had a varied and interesting career. As mentioned, he was hilarious as infotainment reporter and expose television host Garrison Gaylord in Lawrence Bassoff's comic fantasy 'Hunk' (1987).
He was once part of Marlo Thomas' creative project that produced the album 'Free To Be ... You And Me' (1972); just last year, in 2021, the album was deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the National Recording Registry.

German-Austrian film actress and operatic soprano Renate Holm has left us at the of 90, on April 21st. Though her stage was the musical theatre of operettas she during the 1950's also had a an acting career in movies, appearing in movies such as Fräulein vom Amt 1954, The Big Star Parade 1954, Wunschkonzert 1955, Schön ist die Welt 1957, The Count of Luxemburg 1957, Love, Girls and Soldiers 1958 and Marina 1960. During the 1960's, 1970's and 1980's many of performances were televised either as TV-movies or stage productions, and she also moved over to opera. She is remembered by 24 World HoursR.I.P. Hong Kong actor Kenneth Tsang (曾江) has left us at the age of 86, on April 27th. His career spanned over 65 years and included a variety of acting roles. His film debut was in the movie The Feud 1955 when he was 16, which was followed by a role in Who Isn't Romantic? 1956. In the mid-1960's, he starred in detective films and classic kung fu movies with Hong Kong teen idols Connie Chan Po-chu and Josephine Siao. He also appeared in a few Wong Fei-Hung movies in the late 1960's. In 1986, he worked as taxi cab owner, Ken, in John Woo's A Better Tomorrow. Subsequent collaborations with Woo included the role of Ken in A Better Tomorrow 2 in 1987, police officer Danny Lee's murdered partner in The Killer in 1989, and the strict adoptive father of Chow Yun-fat, Leslie Cheung and Cherie Chung in Once a Thief in 1991. His first Hollywood film was The Replacement Killers 1998, also the Hollywood debut of co-star Chow Yun-fat. He appeared alongside Chow once again in Anna and the King 1999 as well as Jackie Chan in Rush Hour 2 2001. He played General Moon in the James Bond film Die Another Day 2002, and he continued to appear in films from his native Hong Kong. American novelist and screenwriter Harold Livingstone has left us at the age of 97, on April 28th. Perhaps best known as the credited screenwriter for Star Trek: The Motion Picture 1979. Others, including Alan Dean Foster and Gene Roddenberry, also contributed to the development of the story and script. Before his career as a writer, he was a radio operator for aircraft navigational purposes and later wrote a book about his adventures titled "No Trophy, No Sword" 1994. He wrote stories and screenplays for such TV-series as Run for Your Life 1966 - 1967, Mission Impossible 1970 - 1972, Mannix 1974, Barbary Coast 1975, Future Cop 1977 and The Father and Feather Gang 1976 - 1977. English television comedy writer and playwright Eric Chappell has left us at the age of 88, on April 21st. He wrote or co-wrote some of the UK's biggest sitcom hits over a more than quarter-century career, first gaining significant notice in the 1970's. He wrote the play The Banana Box, which was given a staged reading at the Hampstead Theatre Club in 1970. A production at the Phoenix Theatre in Leicester in 1971, with Wilfrid Brambell in the role of the landlord, and was later produced in the West End in 1973, with Leonard Rossiter now in the role. This play later became the basis for sitcom Rising Damp, which aired on ITV from 1974 to 1978 and won the 1978 BAFTA for Best Situation Comedy. The Banana Box had a brief run at the Hudson Guild Theater in New York in 1979. A film version of Rising Damp was released in 1980 and won several Evening Standard British Film Awards, although he admitted the screenplay was based on television scripts. His earliest sitcom was The Squirrels 1974–77, an office comedy which ran for three series. He wrote only half of the scripts for the series, these were later remade as Fiddlers Three 1991. His other series included Only When I Laugh 1979 - 1982, The Bounder 1982 - 1983, Duty Free 1984 - 1986, Singles 1988 - 1991, Haggard 1990 - 1992, and Home to Roost 1985 - 1990. Spanish actor Juan Diego has left us at the age of 79, on April 28th. He acted on stage, in television and film productions since 1957. He starred in films such as The Holy Innocents 1984, The 7th Day 2004, Dragon Rapide 1986, París-Tombuctú 1999 and You're the One 2000. Having a raspy voice for most of his career, he is associated with portraits of abrupt, violent and authoritarian characters. His most known television role was the foul-mouthed Don Lorenzo in Los hombres de Paco, popular for the idiom "¡Mis santos cojones!". He is remembered by Antenna 3R.I.P. Juan Diego

Actress Joanna Barnes and singer Naomi Judd have both passed away.
According to Wiki, Ms. Judd had been experiencing anxiety and depression after her last tour, and the lithium she was prescribed had serious side effects, which may have led to her death.
May they both RIP.

She started acting in television episodes from 1956, he first credited movie part came with Violent Road 1958. Among her most remembered roles was the snooty Gloria Upson in the film Auntie Mame 1958, which earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination for New Star of the Year. She became the 13th actress to play Jane when she appeared in Tarzan, the Ape Man 1959, with Denny Miller as Tarzan. In Disney's original 1961 version of The Parent Trap starring Hayley Mills, Barnes played gold-digger Vicki Robinson, who temporarily comes between Maureen O'Hara and Brian Keith. In 1967, she appeared in The War Wagon, a western movie starring John Wayne and Kirk Douglas. She wrote a book, "Starting from Scratch", about home decorating and several novels, including "The Deceivers" 1970, "Who Is Carla Hart?" 1973, "Pastora" 1980, and "Silverwood" 1985. As has been noted, singer, actress and producer Naomi Judd, who with her daughter Wynona formed the legendary country singing duo, The Judds, passed away on Saturday, April 30, at the age of 76, one day before she and Wynona were to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Her daughter, Ashley Judd, is a successful actress.

The notorious paparazzo Ron Galeilla has died at age 91. He was famous for his almost obsessive stalking of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, and he had suffered physical attacks from Marlon Brando, Sean Penn, and Richard Burton's bodyguards. Elizabeth Taylor, who usually had a good relationship with the press, had once admitted that she wanted to kill him!

American soap opera actor Jerry verDorn has left us at the age of 72, on May 1st. (cancer) He became one of Guiding Light's longest-running cast members, debuting in the role on March 19, 1979 and portraying the character of Ross for over 26 years. He won Daytime Emmy Awards for Best Supporting Actor in 1995 and again in 1996. he also portrayed Ross in a 1983 television movie, The Cradle Will Fall, an adaptation of a book to film using several Guiding Light characters in supporting roles. His last appearance as Ross aired on October 11, 2005. On October 25, 2005, he took over the role of Clint Buchanan on ABC's One Life to Live and continued in the role until the series cancellation in 2012. In 1995 he wrote and directed Pugili, an award-winning film about the world of boxing. (Alzheimer's disease) His career included performances in both contemporary and classical roles in theatre, film, and television. He was noted for his role in Bridget Loves Bernie 1972 - 1973, portraying an interfaith marriage with Meredith Baxter, whom he married after the series ended. He also portrayed Dr. Ben Samuels in St. Elsewhere from 1982 until 1983. Miniseries credits include Valley of the Dolls 1981, Night of the Fox 1990, and Master of the Game 1984. In movies he acted in Caravan to Vaccarès 1974, Trial by Combat 1976, Oh, God! Book II 1980, Nightfall 1988 and others. Dennis Waterman: Sweeney, Minder and New Tricks star dies aged 74
Born in London and educated at the Corona Theatre School, Waterman began his career in a role for the Children's Film Foundation, after which, at the age of 12, he was invited to join Stratford's Royal Shakespeare Company. He went on to find fame in his teens in William, the BBC's adaptation of Just William.
He became one of the best-known faces on British television in the 1970s when he played Det Sgt George Carter opposite John Thaw in ITV's police drama The Sweeney. He enjoyed more success in Minder from 1979 to 1989 as Terry McCann, the bodyguard and partner to George Cole's wheeler dealer Arthur Daley.
Waterman went on to star in the comedies On the Up and Stay Lucky, before another popular and long-running role as another Cockney detective in New Tricks, which ran from 2003 to 2015.

South Korean actress Kang Soo-yeon ( 강수연) has left us at the age of 55, on May 7th. (Intracerebral Hemorrhage) Internationally acclaimed star from the mid-1980's to the end of the 1990's, she was often honorifically nicknamed as Korea's "first world star". She began her acting career as a child actor and gained national recognition with A High School Student's Diary on KBS 1TV 1983–1984, and the comedy films Whale Hunting 2 1985 and Mimi and Cheolsu's Youth Sketch 1987. However, she would remain unknown outside her own country until her breakout role in Im Kwon-taek's The Surrogate Woman 1987. She won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress at the 44th Venice International Film Festival for her role, making her the first Korean actor to receive an award at a major international film festival. In 1989, she received the Bronze St. George as an actress at the 16th Moscow International Film Festival for Come Come Come Upward 1989, which further established her "world star" title.
