Fritz wins the first set over Nadal 6 - 3. His foot is hurting. I've never seen him serve like that, not even lifting from the ground.

Nadal takes an injury break. Seems to be suffering an abdominal problem. Still, it has not kept him from making some incredible shots.

After the injury break Nadal came back to win the second set 7 - 5.
They're in the 3rd now and Fritz gets a service break.

Fritz wins the third set 6 - 3. He holds a 2 sets to 1 lead. And a very poorly timed break to open the 4th.

And Fritz goes and loses his serve in the next game.
Match point for Kygerios in the other match.

After the injury break Nadal came back to win the second set 7 - 5. They're in the 3rd now and Fritz gets a service break. Nadal is amazing, and the most gracious person to play the game.

Nadal has been ranked in the top 10 for 873 consecutive weeks. That’s almost 17 years. And he's so humble about this.

Taylor Fritz had his chances, but it didn't happen. Nadal wins the tiebreaker in the fifth and continues his quest for a calendar Grand Slam.
The last and only person to do it I believe is the great Rod Laver. And, he did it twice.

Nadal and Djokovic are relentless - far more so than Federer ever was. Is that a fair assessment, or is that a case of selective memory on my part?

Nadal and Djokovic are relentless - far more so than Federer ever was. Is that a fair assessment, or is that a case of selective memory of my part? I don't know that anyone can touch Nadal in terms of relentlessness. He always impresses me. Today, he amazed me.

Who was the only man to have won six consecutive grand slam singles titles? He didn’t win any before this run of wins and none after.
