Women's final will be between World #1 Iga Swiatek of Poland, trying to win her third Grand Slam title and first one outside Paris, and Ons Jabeur of Tunisia, trying for the second time in a row to become the first Arab, Muslim and African woman to win a Major.
Hopefully Jabeur will have better luck than she had at Wimbledon, but considering who will be across the net from her, I wouldn't bet on it.

I watched the fourth and fifth sets of the Alcaraz-Tiafoe match last night. Great stuff from both players. I am sure we will see plenty more of them in the not-too-distant future.
I am going to say it: the quality of play in men’s tennis is far superior to the best that women can offer. Serena Williams could have won 50 Major titles and she STILL shouldn’t be in consideration for GOAT in my opinion. And I like women’s tennis!

A woman that finishes way ahead of all the other female runners over the course of a decade can't be the greatest marathoner ever. The guys have been routinely hitting serves well over the women's record serve speed. The guys' court coverage is better than Serena could ever accomplish.

I think the Tunisian girl and Alcaraz win.

Imagine losing 2 straight Grand Slam Finals
Got to be rather deflating
Hopefully she takes a much needed vacation and comes back mentally strong for the Aussie in January

The Jabeur fans are obnoxious as fuck. Someone screamed out "fault" on Swiatek's serve. They won't shut up at all.

Hats off to Ruud who called his own double bounce that the ump missed during the first set, resulting in a point for Alcaraz. Great sportsmanship and class on the game’s biggest stage.

In any other case, I'd chalk it up to the usual hyperbole, but man this guy looks good. You can't outhit him, can't outrun him, can't outlast him, can't outthink him. He has every shot in the book, and a few things you've never seen before. His focus is on par with his ability, and he's completely fearless, executing baseline dropshots while down in later set tiebreakers. That Tiafoe match cemented it for me. Home player on a hot streak, playing out of his mind with the crowd behind him. Alcaraz had an answer every time. He doesn't get rattled, he has no weakness to his game that I can identify, and he's only 19. Imagine him at 23-24. The sky is the limit.
