Who's a bigger 'tit' - Nick or Conor McGregor? Definitely the latter! Just seeing on the news that Tsitsipas called Nick a 'Bully' - I do despise bullies
Nick turned around and called Tsitsipas 'soft' for his reaction .....
Tsitsipas also stated Nick has a very Evil side to him
Only reason I think he's good for tennis - is like all sports - you need your heros/villains, good guys/bad guys. It's what boxing sorely misses
Makes it more interesting for me if everybody isn't always squeaky clean and kissing babies and handing out cupcakes to the crowd
After the match yesterday when being interviewed in front of the crowd Nick said something along the lines to the fans - 'I know you all think you can play but you can't - it's tough.....'
He's a personality - good or bad it drums up interest in the sport. Old saying in life - 'Any publicity is good publicity' - or something like that.
I root against Serena - I think I'm one of the few that views her as a villain; however she has 0 personality and just carries herself like The Queen of England (which is a turnoff to me) - she's as vanilla and dull as they come

I can't get over the fact that Kyrgios is royalty - his mother is a former Malaysian royal princess who lost her status when she married a commoner in Australia. It sounds like fiction - a royal Malaysian princess marries a Greek immigrant in Australia and their son becomes the bad boy of tennis!

Alcaraz getting thumped by the Italian Sinner. Tiafoe losing his cool.

What a story! That's got 'Movie of the Week' written all over it!

His bad boy attitude would be a lot more palatable if it didn’t get progressively worse when he loses. It’s one thing to be different or whatever, it’s another to be a whiny, sore loser bitch. Unfortunately, he is more of the latter.

Nothing like Wimbledon and Baseball on the 4th of July Can't believe the Phightens aren't scheduled - disgraceful 2 Americans in the Round of 16 today on the Mens Side - Brandon Nakashima and Taylor Fritz
** Edit - and on the women's side American Hottie Amanda Anisimova goes up against the Chinese Broad that knocked off Serena at 11:15am(est)

Nakashima giving Kyrgios all he can handle right now
6-4 4-6 3-2
I'm torn who I should be rooting for.....
This is like the movie Sophie's Choice where Sophie had to decide which child lives and which child dies (at least that's what I heard it was about).......

Unseeded Chilean Cristian Garin, whom I had never heard of before, comes back from two sets down to beat Australian de Minaur on the fifth set tie-breaker. Did the rules change? I thought there was no tie-breaker in the fifth set at Wimbledon.
*** Edit ***
Also, it looks like he won the tie-breaker by the score of 10-6. What sorcery is that? Shouldn't it have ended at 8-6?

They’ve had final set tiebreaks at Wimbledon since 2019. First to ten points wins a final set tiebreak (as long as it’s by two clear points) See earlier in the thread. It’s the same in all the slams now.
