Shocker. I had no idea he was in this thing until a coworker told me. Very disappointing that he's shoved into a (probably) minor role. I know he's not an A list villain but he's always been one of my favs. More importanly that suit looks freakin terrible! Hopefully there's another version that hasn't been leaked because it's such an iconic suit in the comics and this version is garbage.

I never watched the last trailer, but that disappoints me. Let's be honest, Marvel doesn't have the greatest villains to begin with. Overstuffing the movie with 3 villains will do it no good.

The Shocker couldn't carry a movie on his own. Neither could the Tinkerer. There are two Shockers in the film if I'm not mistaken. Yes, I'm more than a little disappointed that the iconic Shocker costume and a more splashy debut for the character have been kiboshed however, I like the fact that Toombs has a crew of bad guys that all have their own unique gags. It's done in such a way that it doesn't seem overstuffed to me. These are blue-collar guys turned professional criminals with black-market, alien tech. They take down scores and are too under the radar for major-league super heroes to deal with; enter the Spectacular Spider Man. SaveSaveSaveSaveSaveSave

I heard some say that pic was fake and was from a porno flick. This is Schultz from the movie I personally never cared that much for Shocker, maybe hoping a live action version can make me appreciate the character more. "I never watched the last trailer, but that disappoints me. Let's be honest, Marvel doesn't have the greatest villains to begin with. Overstuffing the movie with 3 villains will do it no good." Technically 4 villains Tom Har--- I mean Logan Marshall Green is playing Jackson Brice/Montana/Shocker#2 Vulture is truly the Big Bad,Scultz and Brice are secondary and Tinkerer is tech support

Alexander Pierce, Red Skull, Winter Soldier, Zola, Zemo, Ego, Obediah, and the list goes on. If you're complaining about villains like that, it's a you problem, not a villain problem.

Winter Soldier doesn't really count, he was brainwashed. The rest are plot devices. The only exception is Ego, he was actually okay.

Great fun villains. Enjoy bitching.
Come on, man. Is there nothing wrong with the MCU at all to you? The villains are a sideshow. It's a nitpick. I love the MCU as well, but I don't know why you're so hostile about any criticism at all. Nothing is perfect. Marvel has made it their goal to build heroes, not villains. That's fine. Their villains are obviously not as strong as they could be for that reason, though.

If Sam is right about one thing it's that they want the movies to be more about the villains and have them overshadow the heroes. Loki is one of the only villains to do so in the MCU. And even then, Loki moved from villain to rival after The Avengers (the opposite of Mordo in Dr. Strange). All the other villains are more threats than someone that would take you away from the movie's actual star(s). The MCU villains are more to augment the hero's story than working their way backwards from the movie's villain. Most comic book movies choose a villain and make the movie around that. The MCU mostly has their hero's story and tweaks the villain to fit that story. A lot of the MCU's villains are straight from the comics, but at the same time that much different to be an entirely new character. Even Damage Control is basically the Sinister 6.

Zemo? He works fine in his role and all, but he is absolutely nothing like his comic counterpart, and is really just a plot device that never really acts as the film's central villain. I'm ok with those things personally but to call him a great villain seems like a real reach. Also the funny thing is that if a Fox or Sony movie treated an iconic villain like that fanboys would be crying foul.

Let's be honest, they have a lot of great villains, and no bad ones. BVS Lex is a bad villain. I dare you to name an MCU villain that comes close. And that's what I mean by there's no bad villains. I have no idea what you're laughing at.

Ronan and Malekith work just fine, and I like watching them both. Ronan is seeking vengeance for the deaths of his ancestors and Malekith has watched the long history of the universe take away what he considers it's rightful state. Both are well acted. Both look great. What's the problem?
