Amazon 'Thursday Night Football' audiences fell short of estimates by 25%, and the tech giant is scrambling to make it up to advertisers. Thursday night football sucks. I can only speak for myself obviously, but I’m not a person that actually wants to watch an NFL game every day. It’s not a consistently great product. Some games suck and other games are enjoyable. That’s why it’s great to have the option to switch to “the other game” on Sundays. Without “the other game” I’ll probably just go play Overwatch or read a book. Only watched one Thursday night game this year (well two if you count Thanksgiving on NBC). Doesn't matter what network, I'm probably not watching Thursday night. But I'm definitely not going out of my way to a streamer to do it. And I still have to sit through commercials despite already paying for that service!

I don’t count Thanksgiving because it’s kind of a special occasion and before a few years ago, an outlier on the Thursday night football gimmick. But yea, I probably have only watched Thurs night football when my team is involved the past 2 years at least. The league just doesn’t have enough talent to provide 17 weeks of marque matchups on Thursday and Monday. And since I stopped doing fantasy I can easily forget about Thursday.

Tua out for Sunday. It's hardly surprising; at least 2 and most likely 3 concussions in just a few months (including 2 in a 5-day span) and reports suggesting that doctors have claimed he's had "memory issues" and "struggles to recall things" while also warning Dolphins coaching staff not to introduce any stressors like asking him when he might be able to play again. Does this sound like someone who's set up for a long and healthy post-NFL life?
I'm sure the Dolphins have been searching fruitlessly for some quack to say "he's fine" but it looks like they'll be starting their third-stringer in a playoff game.

Per NFL, Atlanta will host the Chiefs/Bills AFC Championship matchup, should it come to pass.

On top of that...Indianapolis is literally a halfway point between both cities and also a dome, if they really wanted to go that route. Why not Indy? Chicago couldve worked fine if they wanted outdoor (its still outdoor there right?)...and is also a travel hub if they were flying.

Jerod Mayo is the new new. Kraft publicly naming BB's heir is a solid play for me.

Chicago couldve worked fine if they wanted outdoor (its still outdoor there right?)...and is also a travel hub if they were flying. There would be a huge problem if they played in Chicago. That place is a dump and notorious for shitty field conditions. It would be a crime to use that place for any neutral location. If I remember correctly there is something to it like the city has to maintain it instead of the Bears organization. I dont know if it's a city/state law or if the Bears are too cheap. But I remember years ago it being brought up and possibly one of the reasons they are looking to move out of Chicago.

It's a true neutral site because neither team has played there since 2017 because the Falcons are in the NFC. The stadium also has a dome so the weather won't in an issue. Atlanta is about a two-hour plane ride from both Kansas City and Buffalo, so neither team will travel more than the other. It's also hosted title games in the past after Super Bowl LIII was played there in 2019.
And the NFL's partners like it

This "Brian Belichcik" sounds like a fresh new name in the coaching sphere.

The greatest coach of all time indeed. What a disaster. Report reveals massive level of dysfunction in Patriots' 2022 offenseAnd just think, it was only a few years ago this clown was trying to take credit for Brady's success. Belichick is a loser, that's all there is to it. He was a loser before Brady, he's a loser after Brady. He can't draft, he can't hire coaches, and he sure as shit can't field a contending team without the greatest quarterback of all time bailing him out for 20 years.
