There should have been an option for this, would have been at least one vote.

Things here have gotten so complicated, with philosophical discussions of the origin of the universe, etc., that I thought just a basic categorization of everyone here might simplify things. Theist means someone who believes there is a god, higher power, first cause, et al. And it includes every religion, Christianity, Hinduism, Native American belief, and any other recognized religion. Agnostics maintain that it is not possible to know, based on current empirical evidence, whether or not a god exists, and if it exists, the nature of that god. Atheist means someone who does not believe there is a god. (note - I don't know how to fix the typo in the title of the poll) I think you need to revise your definition of Agnostic because you can be either a Theist or an Atheist and also maintain that it is not possible to KNOW, based on current empirical evidence, whether or not a god exists. Yeah...I an atheist gnostic. I don't think there is a god and I'm pretty sure if there was one...we'd all know about it...absolutely, unequivocally and without a doubt.

Agnostic atheist. Agnostic because I am of the position that the only thing I can know for certain, is that I don't know anything else for certain - and probably can't know. But not knowing doesn't mean I don't have opinions. Of course I can't know that no gods exist - but I don't think they do. In fact, I have a very strong opinion that they do not.

I don't believe in God anymore than I believe in Santa Claus, but if evidence for either surfaces, I'm open to changing my mind.

Yesterday was his feast day, actually.

Yesterday was his feast day, actually. Hmmm, I think that source is questionable. It doesn't even mention Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer. But on a slightly more serious note, it's interesting how the concept of Santa Claus has evolved from St. Nicholas.

Amazing how a Bishop from the 4'Th Century Turkey, ended up an immortal gift-giving elf from the North Pole.

I answered “other”, as I am both an agnostic AND an atheist.
I am also agnostic when it comes to specific god claims, and gnostic regarding other claims. So it largely depends on which god one is proposing, and what attributes, phenomena, or historical claims they make with respect to that god. When it comes to the biblical god, I would consider myself a gnostic atheist (which is to say that I know that this god does not exist).

The God of Abraham (God the Father), God of Isaac (God the Son), and the God of Jacob (God the Holy Spirit) Exists.

All people are agnostic no matter what they believe or say they believe. Belief is not the same as knowledge.

Sorry, but YOU are wrong. It does not! No I am not. Our Lord Exists. First of all, stop saying “our” as if it belongs to both of us. This is a belief that YOU have, not me. I don’t have lord! Second, if you want to convince people that YOUR lord is real, then the way to do that is by providing evidence. Not just repeating your claim over and over again. Because I’m still convinced that you’re wrong. You have a burden of proof that you haven’t met. So why do you think repeating your claim is going to convince anyone but yourself?

God Is the God of ALL of us. You. Me. Everybody. Hence " Our" Lord, & not " MY" Lord. Here is an old essay which I copied & pasted from Quora, a couple of years ago: A Good Defence of Christianity, & Catholicism in particular
