I had run-ins with DesiredFX for years on IMDb prime and while I didn't agree with him every time we came into contact with one another he never came across as the type who deliberately tried to start beefs with people and if he trolled he usually admitted he was being sarcastic not only after the topic was created. If DesiredFX was inded a "moron", "insane", and a "troll" then somebody like DC-Fan has got to be a whole different level of nasty and there's evidence of this everywhere on here, not with IMDb prime because well you know the story hence we're all here.
Celebrities working for a rival studio praising Wonder Woman doesn't make a speculated story from DesiredFX and his associates "irrelevant" or hogwash. Having a smooth production doesn't always translate to a pitch perfect early cut either.

I don't think he was trolling, but it is possible that he was simply misled in regards to the reception to the movie. He claimed that this person he talked to was apparently someone he didn't even know, so it's not a stretch to assume that he was being given false information. In any case, I'm glad the movie didn't turn out to be a mess. People like DesiredFX and Sasha Perl-Raver certainly gave people like me a bit of a scare though.

Isn't it all water under the bridge now? The movie is great, getting great reviews and had a killer opening weekend at the box office. Who even cares about this now?

Some films do have earlier test screenings which are not made public till later on, and DesiredFX was not known to be a troll or a liar so I don't think he'd pull something out of his rear end just to create anxiety for DC fanatics. And yes, every movie is a "mess" while its still being edited, but if its screened to a group of people then the bulk of it must be deemed good enough to show a version that can function as the theatrical cut largely. Midnight's Edge's inside source from 4Chan, totally unrelated to DesiredFX mind you, emphasized that the movie was very fixable - No need for extensive reshoots or whatever just edit more in post to improve pace, tone shift, etc. How do you know that's the real DesiredFX? Could be a troll using the same username to mess with people. I don't know if he wrote that post or not but, I can tell you for an absolute fact that is not his username on themoviedb.com. SaveSave

Regarding the whole "how could a good movie come from a messy cut" thing, MANY films we view today as classics did not test well with earlier cuts before further work in post fixed everything. It's been confirmed that only one scene in the entire movie was re-shot. So that proves the rumor was false since there's no way that re-shooting 1 scene is going to turn what is supposedly a "complete mess" into the masterpiece that it is. Most likely it was just another false rumor made up by an MCU fan who was trying to derail the DCEU, just like the false rumors about James Wan quitting as Director of Aquaman.

No, it didn't, and you just further prove you have no idea how films are made with each time you try to claim it was. If Jenkins did say that, she's lying.

All possible, and yes it is a good thing the movie turned out just well when it was all said and done, I too was pretty worried for a time about it.

Well we are talking to a clown who thinks Captain America as in the movies is a bloodthirsty, disgusting tyrant and that Tony Stark has romantic interests in Peter Parker.

True, but I still must put down his ridiculous claims when he spouts them off to me. Good gosh, its like DC-Fan is a 12 year old kid who's just how discovered the internet and opposing opinions.
