American musician and occasional action Randy Meisner (1946-2023) passed away on July 26th from complications from COPD. He was a founding member of The Eagles. He played bass but famously cowrote and sang lead vocals on their hit "Take It To the Limit." American actor Marc Gilpin passed away on July 26th from glioblastoma. Most memorably, he played Sean Brody in the sequel Jaws 2 (1978). He also appeared in The Legend of the Lone Ranger (1981), and on TV in CHiPs, Fantasy Island and Silver Spoons. He was predeceased in 2017 by a younger sister, April Gilpin, who was also in Jaws 2, she played the girl who knows what a shark tower is. A beloved children's entertainer due to his comedic persona, Pee-Wee Herman and his Saturday morning show Pee-Pee-Wee's Playhouse. Besides his roles as Pee-Wee in Pee-Wee's Big Adventure (1985), Big Top Pee-Wee (1988) and Pee-Wee's Big Holiday (2016), he also appeared as Pee-Wee in Cheech and Chong's Next Movie (1980) and Back To the Beach (1987).
