British stage and screen actor Paxton Whitehead (1937-2023) passed away on June 16th from complications from a fall. He had a varied career on stage and went on to become a familiar face on TV sitcoms later in his career, appearing on Friends, Frasier, Caroline in the City, 3rd Rock From the Sun, The Drew Carey Show, Mad About You and Ellen. He had his biggest success in daytime soap operas, appearing on The Young and the Restless, Days of Our Lives and All My Children, for which he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award.
