I don't watch The Oscars, but I just read that the following (who all died in 2022) were left off the In Memoriam segment:
Paul Sorvino Henry Silva Larry Storch Gilbert Gottfried Fred Ward Anne Heche (this can't be right)
Can anyone confirm any of these?

At least this year, a link to a site where other people who had died was included at the end of the segment ... omissions do not seem to me to be deliberate "snubs" ... there is just so much time allotted to the memoriams.
Robert Blake was the only one who got a "joke" from the host highlighting his omission.

Lance Reddick, star of The Wire and John Wick, dies aged 60 www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-64959805He had a natural air of cool headed authority. I first noticed him in Fringe and was always happy to see him appear in film and TV. Too soon.

Gone way too soon. 😥

This is just a reminder and not an accusation pointed towards anyone.
Always write polite, humble and gentle. As everyone is welcome to write here. I myself miss a few to write about that should have been mentioned, and I'm genuinely thankful to all posters filling in the gaps!
As for those "In Memoriam" cavalcades posted. All Awards shows can't be held on New Years Day and naturally has to be spread out over a few months after New Year's Eve. So it's only natural that some names spills over from last year to this year without having a sharp scissor to exclude names. So posting "In Memoriam" is up to each individual poster to post it in either 2022 or 2023 OP End threads where it feels most suitable or both if that feels better. We will miss them anyway, and no harm has been done, just sorrow of losing those we lost.
