Resurrection is far worse for me. Covenant has its problems, but I actually think it's pretty good overall.

I voted Covenant.
Resurrection has more than it's share of problems but it has Ron Perlman, Michael Wincott, Brad Douriff and Sigourney Weaver so it's somewhat entertaining.
Covenant is just so forgettable... the characters often make stupid decisions and Michael Fassbender playing the flute with himself is not enough to save it.

Covenant is worse. Resurrection is goofy, but it's a blast. It always felt like it was supposed to be this gonzo, what-if take on the franchise. Prometheus and Covenant are total garbage disguised as high-minded think pieces.

Resurrection is better than Covenant in every single way. Why people are voting Covenant too is something those voters will have to one day confide in a child abuse therapist about. This thread isn't the appropriate place for that.

I prefer Covenant for its creepy yet atmospheric elements, it's been years since I last saw Resurrection but I dont think it's better than Covenant in any way.

Their tones are wildly different, for being in the same franchise, but in terms of overall quality I would place them at about equal footing.
