Hello, all.
It was a weekend that saw Tottenham finish top of the table despite Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City all winning. It was a case of many players joining their neighbours in predictions and thus there were 2 games where all picked rightly (Arsenal over Sheff Utd & Villa over Luton) and 3 games where all predicted wrongly (Brentford humiliating Chelsea, Bournemouth seeing off Burnley & Fulham snatching a draw at Brighton) And nobody but PSYCHO foresaw the Everton win at West Ham and for that he becomes the 2nd scalper of the season and joins DRK in the Lone Ranger gallery.
The next set of fixtures features two possibly feisty encounters with Newcastle hosting Arsenal on Saturday and Chelsea visiting the Tottenham Stadium on Monday. With Tottenham flying uncharacteristically high and Chelsea brooding in midtable, tempers may be short for very different reasons. Will we see anything like a repeat of the classic 2016 Battle at The Bridge boxing/wrestling match this time round when Tottenham were fighting with their last breath for the title with Leicester looking nervously on? Brutal but at times verging on the comical, you couldn't keep track of the relentless lunges, elbows, face-clawing, stamping and various other assaults in this delicious clip. But with the bunch of prima donnas in Blue there are now I have to say you'll almost certainly find more aggro at the weekly Hemel Hempstead Knitting Circle.
