You can either rank just the main villain from each movie or all villains. I am just going to list the main villains. This franchise has had it rough in the villain category. Good General Zod - Man of SteelYummy performer, far more than the original one. Spandex, though, not yummy... And oh, given according to the script the man is like enginered as a sick with rage pitbull in a human shape, there is nothing else he can do but barking and biting and getting is arse ended to him before ”getting put to sleep”. Unfair, uninteresting story. Imho. Starro - The Suicide SquadCan’t recall anything about that bit. Remember the godess ends up giving finger sandwiches to every baddie in the end, and I reflected, so much for being a goddes when it comes down to that. Ares - Wonder WomanDecent Indeed. Shocking surprise delivered when truth outs. Lex Luthor - Batman V Superman: Dawn of JusticeNot bad performance. Music incredible. King Orm - AquamanRefreshing, actually. Dark Flash - The FlashSteppenwolf - Zack Snyder's Justice LeagueFarcical. Black Manta - Aquaman and the Lost KingdomLame Black Mask - Birds of PreyDoctor Savina - Shazam!Maxwell Lord - Wonder Woman 1984Victoria Kord - Blue BeetleGarbage Kalypso - Shazam! Fury of the GodsEnchantress - Suicide SquadSabbac - Black AdamActually Best stories when there is no baddie.

I prefer stories with some sort of antagonist though. Of course I prefer stories without antagonists over stories with crappy antagonists.

As disappointed as I admittedly was by Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor at the time, I’ve come to appreciate it in the past few years. He’s actually a pretty inspired modern update on the character in the form of a self-serving and emotionally stunted tech billionaire. He was obviously modeled after Mark Zuckerberg, but he brings to mind a certain other billionaire from South Africa, right down to having daddy issues and an apparent fixation with the letter ‘x.’
Enchantress is still lame though. Her motives are poorly explained and she’s difficult to take seriously. Cara Delevigne was also probably too young at the time to play someone who was supposed to be an archeologist.

I have always been a moderate fan of Eisenberg's Lex Luthor, though I understand why many people dislike him.

I think you are confusing The Suicide Squad with Suicide Squad. Starro is the main antagonist in The Suicide Squad and Enchantress is the main antagonist in Suicide Squad. Not sure how anyone could forget the entire final act of The Suicide Squad which features a Godzilla-like mind-controlling star shaped creature from outerspace.

I feel like a lot of the dislike towards Eisenberg’s Lex is because people wanted Lex Luthor to be some charismatic and badass alpha male. By the way, I think the lamest villain in the DCEU is the theatrical version of Steppenwolf. That guy might as well be an NPC.

I have definitly been wrong. Regrets. Sure godzilla like mind controlling star shaped creature from outerspace would have struck me. For reason unknown reminds me of à short novel in a book I read last year about a Sister who orders outerspace self tanning lotion and turns into an orange controlling freak.

I remember us bumping heads once because I suggested deep down you liked his take because you were propping up his performance in the... erm, Turkish Airlines tie-in. Anyway, if you've seen The Social Network, Zuckerberg/Eisenberg doesn't behave anything like his Lex in it. And I don't have a problem with him not being "alpha" per se. The criticism is usually his weird, manic energy, which is more Joker esque than Lex.

The Suicide Squad is the best movie in the DCEU in many people's opinion and is far removed from the other DCUE movies because it is directed by James Gunn and you can tell. Why haven't you watched it?

Not gonna lie, most of the villains have been so forgettable to me that I'm struggling to remember anything they said or did, so I wouldn't be able to rank them. Michael Shannon's Zod is still easily my favorite though.

I’ve also recently formed the opinion that BvS (Ultimate Edition) is the best movie of the ‘Snyderverse’ trilogy. It’s definitely a step up from MoS, which I would say is the weakest. And yes, I have seen The Social Network. It’s not exactly an obscure movie. My initial disappointment with Eisenberg’s Lex was because I was hoping he would play the role more as cold and detached, but the antics of certain real life billionaires have made me realize that Eisenberg’s performance was ahead of its time. I also don’t see how he’s “Joker esque.” The most Joker thing about him is that his hair looks like Heath Ledger’s.

Whether I recognized something in your postings you perhaps weren't ready to admit to yourself and others, or it's a genuine coincidence (which I'm not ruling out, mind you) and you only came around to them later, I just thought it was funny we have an explicitly (heyyy) antagonistic relationship based on me accusing you of secretly liking things you would now openly like. Well, as I said, it's the "weird, manic energy". The character is always sputtering or giggling about something and generally comes across as whacky. I'm not really seeing the Musk comparison either, if I'm being honest. As far as real life people go, I know he's been oft compared to gross pervert/overgrown manchid/nepo baby Max Landis. That one I can kinda see from a personality standpoint, though it always seemed to assign Landis more impotance than he was worth that Snyder would base the villain of his 400 million dollar superhero crossover on the guy. But Eisenberg had worked with him, I suppose.
