![](https://static.clubs.nfl.com/image/upload/t_editorial_landscape_12_desktop_2x/f_auto/giants/elw4kp1ztzgybckpt6l8.jpg) Giants unveil their 'Century Red' alternate uniform for their 100th season. Quite hideous, but I guess it resembles the first uniforms they wore in the inaugural season in the 1920s. They'll wear these for 'Up to 2 games this season.' Ok.. Also the uniform is 'presented by United Airlines.' Whatever the fuck that means. They look like something you’d see in a movie that doesn’t have permission to show actual NFL logos. These could have been in The Last Boy Scout.

Will be interesting to see when they verbalized stepping away from Saqoun and then flash forward to him signing in Philly. That's what everyone is gonna want to see, but we all know the answer already. They think they offered him a fair deal for the market of what running backs make in today's NFL, and they had to be willing to let him go, and go wherever they wanted to, if they really believed that... and they did. I don't like anything about it, but that's the operating philosophy. They could have fucking franchised him again... I don't blame them for not signing him for that kinda money. Pains me to say it as most of my favorite players as I kid were RBs but they don't hold the same value now. What I don't get is if they felt that way, why not trade him before last year's deadline? It's not like they were in the playoff race and even if they got very little for him, at least they could control where he was going to go so he doesn't wind up with a bitter rival who you have to face twice a year.

The gold pants are probably the worst thing about them.

If I was a Jets fan I'd have a real serious conflict. I don't see how I could possibly root for the guy at this point.

Although the helmet doesn't seem to have any basis in history. If they were more historically accurate the helmet would have been the same color as the ghastly pants. So I prefer this. I wonder which game(s) it will be that the score is more embarrassing than the gold pants.

They don't hold the same value for sure, but the Giants and Saquon could have come to an extension agreement last year. They offered him a multi year deal, he held out, then he took a one year deal. If they had just offered him the same multiyear deal at that point we would have to be having this discussion. Or if they just franchised him, which they could have done. But trading him last year wouldn't have done anything. It was still just a one year deal so he would have been a free agent in the off season anyway.

Week 14 - - the last week of the regular season for fantasy football - - has six bye teams, including the Ravens and Texans, as well as players like Johnathan Taylor. Draft accordingly.

I realize it was a 1 year deal but if you send him to a good team where they make a run and he plays well there, there is a good chance they want to resign him and a good chance he wants to resign there. You are right in that he could've went and signed anywhere after the year, like with the Eagles, but I think it lessons the odds a bit plus you get a little something in return with the trade.

Given all the trash reality TV shows out there I am surprised we don't have some sort of Real Housewives of the NFL. You've got someone like Brittany Mahomes who is just self absorbed enough to think she is an actual celebrity to put on a show like that. Throw in Matthew Stafford's annoying wife or Harrison Butker's wife who apparently was put on this earth to be a 1920's housewife and watch all the totally real "drama" unfold. My wife watches most of the reality shows, at least the ones on Bravo. I seem to remember a Basketball Wives show but I never watched it. But I could get on board an NFL Wives show depending on who they cast. I'll pass on Ms. Mahomes but I'd be in on Zach Hertz's wife or Kylie Kelce or someone like that. I'm not overly familiar with players wives unless they're actually famous for something like Ertz (who I believe played for the USWNT) as well as Darren Wallers soon to be ex-wife Kelsey Plum (WNBA). There are the outliers like Mahomes or Stafford who randomly think they are celebrities because of who they married not because of any merit of their own. That tends to be what those shows are designed for though, hardly any actually famous people because they have better shit to do than be on trash reality TV. Freaking Kelsey Grammar got dragged into one of those shows because of his wife and he hated it.

Because if his mom had opted to stay at home rather than pursuing a career, maybe, just maybe, her son wouldn't have grown up to be become such a brainless asshole.

Karma City Chiefs. 30 for 30. This is going to be 2020's Americana in a nutshell - Travis Swifties balanced out by the Bake Me Some More Cookies Butkers. When the secular Patriots dynasty ended... we had this coming?
