This movie is not getting good reviews. I am watching it now, so hopefully it will be funnier to me than the critics have suggested.

I'm a huge Seinfeld fan so I kinda have to, even if it doesn't really look like gold, Jerry, gold.

I would say him playing an Oompa Loompa is lower than the car incident. That is sort of the joke in Unfrosted. He is a stage actor who has to resort to playing a cereal mascot.

This movie is tough to watch. It is often very unfunny, obnoxious and cringe-inducing, though I will give it credit for the most ridiculous funeral scene I have ever seen.
It is like they had part of an idea and didn't flesh it out and then the actors just winged it from there.
Bill Burr's cameo as JFK is amusing and he did get a few laughs from me and I like the 1950s setting, but aside from that the movie comes pretty close to being terrible.

At some point sure, as I'm a fan of Seinfeld. But a movie about some pastries isn't something I'm in any rush to see.

Just finished it. Hugh Grant and Bill Burr were fun and there were some amusing parts, but overall I just didn't find it all that funny or entertaining.

A friend of mine just watched it and compared it to the Mike Myers Cat in the Hat. Thatβs enough warning for me to stay away.

I really laughed during the funeral and the insurrection scenes. Actually got better the more it went on. It's a silly fun time killer that made me chuckle more than once. Nothing wrong with that. Hugh Grant as Tony the Tiger is the casting coup of the decade.

It's one of the weirdest viewing experiences I've ever had. It's inexplicably bad, but not so-bad-it's-good, just bad-- and yet somehow, I didn't hate it. Not that I liked it either, or would ever consider watching five minutes of it again. I can't believe it exists. You just sit there soaking in the bad writing and random cameos, and wonder how anyone involved in the making of this film felt after watching the finished product.

Hugh Grant as Tony the Tiger is the casting coup of the decade. I didn't find it fun and mostly very unfunny. There are 2 scenes that made me chuckle. The JFK scene and the funeral scene. Of course there is nothing wrong with enjoying silly dumb comedy (I mostly enjoyed Ricky Stanicky, for example), but this movie misses the mark at almost every turn imo.

Just watched it. Itβs pretty ungood. The Mad Men and end scenes were about all I laughed at.
I also thought it was funny, though in a sad way, that Bill Pope listed himself as βWilliam Popeβ in the credits. I wonder if that was his way of hiding? π

I'm a little less interested now that I looked it up. I thought it was a star-studded documentary about the creation of the pop-tart. I would be more interested in that. Jerry Seinfeld works best for me as Jerry Seinfeld.
