Pleasantly surprised at how low 6 is being ranked, despite somehow being the second highest rated on IMDb.

Pleasantly surprised at how low 6 is being ranked, despite somehow being the second highest rated on IMDb. I actually forgot that. I noticed you and I have damn near the same rankings. I've only seen 5 once, so it could pass 4. I was thinking about maybe rewatching them all next month.

Yeah I kind of just have 5 where it is because I've still only seen it once, but I've seen the previous sequels a few times each. I know you dislike 3, but I actually mostly enjoy it. It's just the way the reveal messes with the first movie that holds it back for me. 6 is the only one I don't at least find entertaining.

They have some really well done set pieces at least. Then the final act couldn't have been more insulting if the directors came into the theater and released a giant wet fart in my face. And yes, the semi retcon in 3 (which isn't even a huge retcon, it's a minute detail the film and killer blows way out of proportion) are really lame, as is digging back into the well of "who really killed Sidney's mom?" again in general. But it's got plenty of other problems for me.

Scream 8/10 Scream 2 6/10 Scream 3 5/10 Scream 4 2/10
Scream 3 I've seen only once, when it was new. Thought it was better than it's poor reputation, but still not that good.
I'm surprised that part 4 is getting quite good ratings here. I found it really intolerable beginning with the very opening scene.

I would rather it 1st best, 3rd worst.
