I am not an American and started watching NFL only 3 years ago. I am still not very knowledgeable of the game but I like it and at least one thing I have figured out. That New England Patriots are very good and achieve so much success simply because they are that good. The exaggeration that they have won Super Bowls because of cheating seems ridiculous now. I am not a fan of Patriots but still I am not so foolish as not to understand that they are very talented side and their quarterback is awesome. Sometimes, it is easy to spread lies when majority people indulge in that lie. On IMDB boards so many people used to say Patriots are cheaters and win by cheating that even I bought into their lie. That said, I am personally a fan of Russell Wilson and support Seattle. But I needed to give my views as an objective person. That Patriots achieve things because of cheating is the greatest lie ever told.

It's the cynical age we live in. Some people don't believe we went to the moon, either. It's a sad commentary on the broken psyche of a small (but vocal) segment of the population. The Patriots are a great organization, it's that simple.

Dude, Cloak and Dagger was one of my favorite movies when I was a little kid, used to watch it with my dad when I was younger. It was on TV recently and I had it on in the background while cooking dinner one night. It was crazy how much of it I remembered! In any event, I think we all know that the "DC" in 'DC Fan' means Dominican Cock. Case closed! |

Dude, Cloak and Dagger was one of my favorite movies when I was a little kid, used to watch it with my dad when I was younger. cause you don't have to be a fan of a team to respect they are a good team. I hate the Steelers more than any other team in the NFL, but that doesn't mean that I am going to blame all their success on cheating, luck, rigged games etc. They got to where they are at because its a decently run organization. The track record speaks for itself.

They mistakenly thought AH stood for Anne Hathaway, which was incorrect. And I even proved that they were incorrect.
I registered on IMDB in November 2005. Anne Hathaway was still unknown to general public moviegoers like myself at that time and didn't become well-known to general public moviegoers like myself until "Brokeback Mountain" was released (in limited release in a few cities in December 2005 and then in wide release in January 2006).
I'm usually correct in my sports predictions, but that doesn't mean I have psychic powers. So AH couldn't have stood for Anne Hathaway when I didn't even know who Anne Hathaway was when I registered on IMDB in November 2005.
So now I've registered here with a new username so that it's clear what my username stands for: Dallas Cowboys

How is it possible that match officials, prior to EVERY down played by the New England Patriots, for an ENTIRE SEASON did not notice ONCE that the footballs they were using were under inflated, considering that at least one official must place the ball on the field at the line of scrimmage. Not once. It took an opposition player after a fumble to notice.
Either a) the difference was so slight none of them noticed or b) every team in the NFL inflates the balls to the PSI they like.
On spygate - I guarantee every NFL side illegally tries to figure out play calls. Every one. And anybody who says it doesn't happen is simply naive. The only difference concerning the Pats is that they got caught doing it.

A couple of PSI wouldn't be noticeable to someone who just picks up a football but doesn't grip it like a QB does.
As for the difference, a couple of inches can be the difference between converting or not converting a 3rd or 4th down. And a couple of PSI can be the difference between completing a TD pass and having that pass get intercepted. So it's a pretty significant advantage.
Every team brings their own footballs so they can inflate the footballs to their preference, AS LONG AS IT'S WITHIN THE LEGAL LIMIT. BUT UNLIKE EVERY OTHER TEAM, BRADY CHOSE TO GO UNDER THE LEGAL LIMIT, WHICH IS CHEATING.
As for SpyGate, every team tries to figure out play calls, but every other team did it in a legal way, which isn't cheating. The Patriots did it in an illegal way, which is cheating. And NO, NOT EVERY TEAM DOES IT ILLEGALLY LIKE THE PATRIOTS DID. YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO PROOF AT ALL THAT OTHER TEAMS DO IT ILLEGALLY LIKE THE PATRIOTS DID.
