You mean only intelligent fans within New England admire the Patriots? Come on, there are also intelligent fans outside of NE. There are many fine intelligent fans on this forum who are not NE Patriots fans. Are you suggesting otherwise? Hell, Jimmy Johnson and Tony Romo are big Patriots fans. Are you saying they are stupid? Dallas Cowboys Jimmy Johnson has admitted that he and others filmed the opponents sideline No, Johnson never said the Cowboys filmed from the sideline. On the contrary, Johnson specifically told the interviewer that the camera guy was in the booth. Filming from the booth (Which the Cowboys did) isn't against the rules and isn't cheating. Filming from the sidelines (which the Patriots did) is against the rules and is cheating. Wrong wrong wrong.
"exactly how I was told to do it" means he did exactly what the Patriots did, and he didn't think it even helped.

No intelligent fans outside New England acknowledge or admire the Patriots accomplishments. The 60s Packers, the 70s Steelers, the 80s 49ers, the 90s Cowboys, the 80s Lakers, the 90s Bulls, the Lakers again the 2000s, the Spurs, all great franchises that have never had any fines or suspensions for cheating. Fans admire those franchises. The Patriots - suspensions and multiple fines for cheating. Everyone knows the Patriots accomplishments are tainted by cheating just like Ben Johnson's world record in the 100-meter sprint final at the 1988 Olympics and no one admires cheaters like the Patriots. As for ReyKuhuka's weak excuse that he loves to use over and over again: "But the NFL hasn't taken away the titles." 1st, it's not the NFL who hasn't taken away the titles. It's Robert Kraft's best friend Roger Goodell who hasn't taken away the titles. Peter Rozelle, Paul Tagliabue, any other Commissioner would already taken away the titles. But Kraft has his best friend Goodell to protect him. 2nd, MLB hasn't taken away any of the home run stats or records from the steroids era. But everyone knows those stats and records were achieved by steroids just like everyone knows the Patriots accomplishments were achieved by cheating. Guess what, Gomer? EVERYONE CHEATS. Weak and invalid excuse. It's like if you got ticketed for speeding and your defense to the judge is EVERYONE SPEEDS. Not everyone speeds and claiming that as a defense for speeding is a weak and invalid excuse. Likewise, not everyone cheats and claiming that as a defense for cheating is a weak and invalid excuse. I'll ask again: How many times were the 60s Packers, 70s Steelers, 80s 49ers, 90s Cowboys, 80s Lakers, 90s Bulls, the Spurs, and the Lakers again in the 2000s fined or suspended for cheating? There was just a play in thr Bears-packers game where a defender grabbed a Packers jersey. And the ref can throw a flag for that rules infraction. But when the Patriots illegally film opponents' signals from the sidelines or have a film crew film an upcoming opponent under the guise that they're "filming a documentary" or when a player orders his equipment guy to illegally tamper with game balls after the refs have approved the footballs, that's not something the refs can throw a flag for. It's similar to track and field. If Ben Johnson false starts, the judges can disqualify him for that. But when Ben Johnson takes steroids and then breaks a world record, the judges have no way of catching that until Johnson is tested for steroids.

Jimmy Johnson specifically defends Belichick in the whole Spygate thing. Why is that? Why do Tony Romo and Troy Aikman continuously gush over Tom Brady's greatness? Is all this "stupidity" just a Cowboys thing? Wait ... JJ was filming the opponents sideline from the "booth"? The same booth the Patriots just filmed from, and you specifically said was cheating? Let's see the mental contortions you dream up to explain that. Oh ... and what's the matter, cupcake? Joe Montana's admission that the 49ers frequently "skirted" the rules to win their Championships to much for you? ... Yeah, though so.

"exactly how I was told to do it" means he did exactly what the Patriots did, and he didn't think it even helped.
Q: Where’d you put your guy who was videotaping? Where was he? JJ: My guy was up with my camera crew in the press box. That's pretty clear that Johnson was asked point blank where his camera guy filmed from and Johnson specifically said his camera guy was in the press box. So that's pretty clear that the Cowboys filmed legally and didn't cheat like the Patriots did.

So you’d just put an extra camera up with your camera crew in the press box who zoomed in on the signal callers. That’s the best way to do it, but anyway you can’t always do that because the press box camera crew might be on the same side as the opposing team. If they’re on the same side as the opposing team that’s when you need to do it from the sideline.
whooops you forgot the rest of that quote LOL. Why would he say "you need to do it from the sidelines" instead of "then you can't do it"? Obviously he did it both ways.

That question was answered. Are you dense? Back in the day when Rozelle and Tagliabue were commissioners, they didn't stoop to the sort of ticky-tack accusations of cheating that we see today. If they did, most, if not all, of those teams you mentioned would have been stripped of their titles. "He filmed from the wrong spot!" "The pressure in the football was a sub fraction of a psi below normal!" Christ, dude. Grow a pair.

whooops you forgot the rest of that quote LOL. And you forgot that when a sentence starts with IF, that's a hypothetical statement. Like on the last play of Super Bowl XLVII when Joe Flacco said on the sidelines before the final kickoff "If it looks like he's going to score, I'm going to tackle him" (i.e. if the 49ers kick returner is going to return the final kickoff for a TD, then Flacco is going to run onto the field and tackle the kick returner before he can score the TD). But Flacco and the Ravens' players on the sidelines never ran onto the field during the final kickoff. Because Flacco's statement was only a hypothetical statement that never happened. That's why there was never any penalty against Flacco or the Ravens on that final kickoff. Likewise, Jimmy Johnson's IF statement was only a hypothetical statement that never happened. That's why there was never any fines or suspension against the Cowboys for cheating. Unlike the Patriots, who have received suspensions and multiple fines for cheating.

Don't you work with computers? You should know about If-Else-Then coding. It's not only hypothetical, it's a decision tree. It's preparation.
Who are you to say it never happened? You think Jimmy Johnson never coached a game where his team's press box was on the same side as the opposing team's sideline?
If that kind of thing never happened in his very long career, then he wouldn't have mentioned that situation, now would he?

That means either branch can be never executed if the conditions for that branch are never met. And I've seen examples of programs with IF-ELSE statements in which 1 of the branches is never executed. Who are you to say it never happened? According to the NFL, it never happened. Because if it did, then the Cowboys would've been suspended or fined like the Patriots were. But the Cowboys have never been suspended or fined for cheating. Unlike the Patriots, who have received suspensions and multiple fines for cheating. Whether they're ever executed depends on the program's parameters. There are some decisions trees where, over many iterations, every then/else action will be triggered. It doesn't make sense for JJ to say 'that's when you need to do it' instead of 'then you can't do it' if it's only hypothetical. He said he did exactly what the Patriots did, then another time, to cover his ass, he gave a slightly different take on the situation.
Just because someone doesn't get caught doing something doesn't mean it didn't happen. You're always saying the Patriots must be cheating in other instances for which they were never punished now aren't you?
Do think the Patriots only cheated for the specific things and instances they were punished? Or do you think they've gotten away with many other instances of cheating?

And you forgot that when a sentence starts with IF, that's a hypothetical statement. JJ said he did the same thing BB did when he defended BB. Your attempts to claim otherwise are comically disingenuous. Your heroes - Jimmy Johnson, Troy Aikman and Tony Romo all think the Patriots are awesome and you are full of shit. how does that feel? No doubt, everyone reading this thread think you are a cowardly pussy for avoiding Joe Montana admitting that the 49ers frequently "skirted" the rules to win their championships. You have quite the unique talent for losing an argument and making yourself out to be a jackass, all at the same time. Well done!

Your heroes - Jimmy Johnson, Troy Aikman and Tony Romo all think the Patriots are awesome Aikman says Brady cheated in DeflateGate LOL. Your links all refer to the same radio show. Jan 2015. Days after deflategate broke. During the period of time when we were all being misled by false information. Since then, Aikman has clearly changed his tune. Do try to keep up. Excellent! "I think unequivocally, at least in my mind, Tom Brady is the greatest. And I'm proud to be able to say that, and I know that most everyone will agree with that." Troy Aikman 2017 Boom! ... Oh, and since you brought up John Madden and Hines Ward, let's see what they have to say after the BS smoke from deflategate had cleared ... When asked who he would want for his QB if he was still coaching... "Tom Brady. That would be, for me, a relatively easy choice." John Madden 2016 "I've jumped off that (cheating) bandwagon" ... "The Steelers should be more like the Patriots" ... "Mad respect to Tom Brady and Coach Belichick" Hines Ward 2019 Bada Boom! So, to recap ... Joe Montana: Admits to "skirting the rules" to win his championships. Jimmy Johnson: Biggest defender of Bill Belichick in spygate. Tony Romo: Gushes over Tom Brady's greatness every week. Troy Aikman: "Unequivocally" thinks Tom Brady is the GOAT. John Madden: Would want Tom Brady to be his QB over all others. Hines Ward: Has recanted his "cheating" comments and now wishes the Steelers team culture was more like the Patriots. Wow. Looks pretty unanimous there, doesn't it cupcake? How does if feel to be crushed by your own heroes? Each and every one of them must think you are an idiot.

There has been 4 full seasons since the first article you listed was published, and 2 partial seasons. In those 6 seasons, The Patriots have made 4 Superbowls, winning 3, an AFC championship game and are currently leading the AFC East and have clinched, at worst, a Wildcard. Clearly, despite not having his preferred pigskin pressure, Tom Brady and the Patriots are the best team in the NFL. And bemoaning about an under inflated football 5 years and 3 championships after the fact is now pathological desperation. Seriously dude - get some fucking help. You need it.
