No atheism and secularism is the best defence against all religious extremism. Although since the reformation Christianity is less violent and more compatible with Western values than Islam ever will be,doesn't mean I want the church or Christianity to wield the power it once did. Christianity has been dying on the vine in England for decades we need to let it and then make sure Islam doesn't fill that vacuum. |
