I actually very much enjoy Batman and Robin. It was an enjoyable film, better than the critics made it out to be. My favorite line is where Batman says, "This is why Superman works alone."

I really like that movie also. It helps if you view as a parody of Batman (or maybe a throwback to the Adam West version) rather than a serious installment of the franchise.

Not exactly a confession of crime because I didn't commit the thing but probably a bad temptation that should not have entered my brain.
My flatmate is a Muslim and eats halal food. I went to shopping yesterday and he asked me to bring halal chicken. I was shopping from woolies and thought I should also buy the chicken from there but they don't sell halal so I thought what's wrong if I buy the non-halal. My friend won't know anyway as I had to do the cooking this time. But then I thought it's not good to play on someone's trust and he is a nice person. So I gave up my laziness and walked a kilometer to get halal chicken.

Hard to believe you're sharing a flat with a Muslim. The ones I've known were okay guys, but I admit that I haven't known very many. Everyone has a different life experience.

Unless a another person's tradition violates some obvious rule in your own tradition, you should let it be. I think "honor thy father and mother" means doing what they say, following their traditions even foreign ones, unless those violate the traditions of the god in the Bible.

I used to live in a mosque when I was in Delhi (2006-2012). Even though I was once an anti-Muslim sort of a person I always had a strong relations with Muslims. For some odd reasons Muslims like me a lot. When I was in Leicester, an old Muslim gentleman who owned a restaurant would often invite me for discussions and offer me free dinner every time. They liked talking about religion with me and appreciated that I was a sort of traditionalist/conservative (back in 2000s I was pretty close to traditionalist). Likewise I have always had Muslims friends wherever I have lived. I have never understood the reasons but they just like me.

Yes, I think one should be honest in conduct even if none is affected by a temporary act of dishonesty. It's also a good thing to be respectful to other people. Society would be much better place if everyone tried to understand others.

a lot of times I feel as if posters deliberately pretend to misunderstand the context of something just in order to spice up and fight. i think they know very well how something was meant and pretend not to.
I also think a certain posters post things they know are provocative or wrong just to start fights.
In all I think this board is a bit of a theater when most posters are acting and not being themselves.
