I miss the old Pixar that just made masterpiece after masterpiece. I haven't seen any of the newest Pixar movies but I've heard they went way down hill after TS3. It's a real shame because most of their earlier classics can be enjoyed by adults as much as kids. I rewatched the first two Toy Stories last week for the first time in years and was pleasantly suprised how much I still loved them. The Good Dinosaur and Cars 3 on the other hand look like "just for kids" movies.

I haven't seen it yet. I was somewhat put off by the character designs as they looked too kiddish (much like Good Dinosaur). But that's an admittedly superficial judgement. I've heard it's classic Pixar at its best.

I've heard it's classic Pixar at its best. You should definitely check it out. It's terrific & probably the least "kiddish" out of all of Pixar's other films. I think many kids wouldn't understand the message since they're brains aren't completely developed to be empathetic about depression.

Toy Story 3 is the most mature and saddest of the three. It's a powerful movie about change, growing up and getting old. I love them all, but this one speaks to me on a deeper level.

I can't believe they're making a 4th. It totally undermines the 3rd's conclusion.

I like all of them (Toy Story 3 is one of those rare sequels made years after the predecessors that still follows the spirit of the originals), but Toy Story 2 is one of my favorite movies of all time, so it gets my vote.

I can't believe they're making a 4th. It totally undermines the 3rd's conclusion. Agreed. Pixar's greed is really starting to destroy them. A fourth movie is totally unnecessary.

Cars was easily one of Pixar's worst when it was released. It didnt need a sequel, much less two of them.

Very clever and it masterfully handles the mature subject matter. A top ten Pixar film for sure!

Its a tie between 1 and 2 for me. The first was the game-changer that, for better and for worse, did its part in creating the modern era of film. The second was just an all-around great movie. Though 3 gets points for Spanish Buzz.

personally it's 2.
3 felt like a bit of a retread of 2 (with trying to understand a life post-andy), and wasn't as tight, however it was more emotional than all three.

The first Toy Story is my favourite movie, but I absolutely love all three.

Does it really matter?
they are all very overrated like animated movies of that type generally are around here. they are nothing special to say the least.
