Hi everyone. As always, thanks for all the reviews.
I just can't get excited for 'Spiderman' movies since Sam Raimi's excellent trilogy. My favourite song in 'Grease' is 'Summer Loving', I'm a dedicated 'Elm Street' fan, Wolf Rilla's 'Village Of The Damned' is better than John Carpenter's surprisingly drab remake.
You totally nailed it with '40 Year Old Virgin', it has alot of heart.

My viewings :
âJust Sex And Nothing Elseâ (2005, Csak szex Ă©s mĂĄs semi â Krisztina Goda)
Career woman Dora (Judit Schell) is looking for a man with no strings attached when handsome young hunk Tamas (Sandor Csanyi) walks into her life. Could it be love or simply friends with benefits?
Iâd definitely rank âJust Sex And Nothing Elseâ as one of the ten best romantic comedies Iâve seen from the 21st century. Itâs set against the fashion and theatre worlds which provide an interesting backdrop and thankfully it doesnât sacrifice laughs for slushy love games. Krisztina Goda directed one of Hungaryâs biggest box-office smashes with the historical piece âChildren Of Gloryâ (2006) and she helmed this delightful comedy just a year earlier. Judit Schell is miraculous as Dora. I've seen this movie about five times and it only gets better.
âThe Perfect Guy For My Girlfriendâ (2009, Idealny facet dla mojej dziewczyny â Tomasz Konecki)
Moral conservatives clash with sexy liberals when crazy love games are the order of the day.
Wow, this movie was a trial to sit through. I guess itâs meant as satire but itâs an unholy pastiche of epic proportions. Part of the mammoth running time consists of amateur posing of the unerotic kind and the cast is made up of broad caricaturists. Iâm afraid I didnât laugh once during its excruciating two hour length. From the director of âTestosteroneâ (2007) and âLadiesâ (2008).
âGoogle Goes Gagaâ (2011, Documentary â Marissa Meyer)

'Bad Romance' - Lady Gaga
âBirth Of The Living Deadâ (2013, Documentary â Rob Kuhns)
Film director George Romero explains the processes that drove the making of his debut feature âNight Of The Living Deadâ (1968) which was initially met with hostility by American film critics.
âNight Of The Living Deadâ started to be re-evaluated when a critic writing for Andy Warholâs âInterviewâ magazine declared it to be a work of art. French contributors to publications like âPositifâ and âBellevilleâ had already sung its praises and it was finding a receptive audience at the drive-ins. The film was shot guerrilla style on location in Pennsylvania, utilising local talent from the Pittsburgh area (Warhol himself was from Pittsburgh). Like Tobe Hooperâs seminal shocker âThe Texas Chain Saw Massacreâ (1974) and Frank Henenlotterâs underground classic âBasket Caseâ (1982), itâs now preserved within the film collection (established 1935) of the Museum Of Modern Art in Romeroâs home state New York. Independent filmmaker Larry Fessenden and powerhouse producer Gale Anne Hurd join Romero for Rob Kuhnsâ academic deconstruction of a cinematic milestone.
âGaga By Gaultierâ (2013, Documentary â Alex Fighter & Julie Gali)
Fashion icon Lady Gaga sits down with iconic fashion designer Jean-Paul Gaultier.
Gaga looks amazing in this extended interview piece which is only fitting. Love her gothic beehive and liquid eyeliner anime panda eyes. I think itâs time for a new documentary on the multi-faceted artistic works of Lady Gaga. The best documentary Iâve seen to date is the unofficial entry âGlamourpuss : The Lady Gaga Storyâ (2010) which has some nice footage of her pre-Gaga days.
âGo Go Gaga - Little Monsters Specialâ (2016, Documentary â Marvin Senator Jr.)
Fans of Lady Gaga select some of their favourite alternate versions from her song catalogue.
Iâm with my fellow monsters here, for one of my favourite things about Lady Gaga is how many variations she puts forward of her songs. First and foremost sheâs a musician and a songwriter, happy to be blessed with a strong voice, and itâs her confidence at the piano and wielding other instruments that allows her to share the many different sides to her multi-layered compositions. She puts in many hours of practise and a lot of hard work which her fans appreciate, as professed by pretty much everyone whoâs caught on camera in the fan film âGo Go Gaga - Little Monsters Specialâ.
'Alejandro (Ale-Ale-Jand-A-Rooo)' - Lady Gaga
âHARDtalk Special : The Dustin Lance Black Interviewâ (2017, Documentary â BBC)
Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black sits down with journalist Stephen Sackur for some hard questioning.
Dustin Lance Black has been doing the rounds on interview shows here in U K. It's interesting hearing his thoughts on a range of subjects including the fight for âLGBTâ rights. Heâs great with words and definitely worth listening to.
âLights, Camera, Action, Roll : A Day In The Life Of Jim Acostaâ (2017, Documentary â Tone DâoâQuell)
Senior CNN Political Correspondent Big Jim Acosta has been described as a constant thorn in the side of the dominant Trump White House. President Donald J. Trump said to Acosta,
âHey, I've watched you on TV, you're a real beautyâ.
Jim Acosta studied communications and political science at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, University. Heâs been the big dog on the White House lawn which has angered state officials yet one suspects that President Trump has a grudging respect for Acostaâs superior interview skills. Heâs one of the most arresting talents on an impressive CNN roster that brings an appreciative worldwide audience quality news around the clock.
âOutside The White House 2â (2017, Documentary â Charles Iverson)

âThe State Of Things To Come 5â (2017, Documentary â Charles Iverson)

'Paparazzi' - Lady Gaga
âThe Summer Of Loveâ (2017, Documentary â Lyndy Saville)
Journalists ponder the cultural impact of the hippie revolution via keynote moments from 1967.
The documentary âThe Summer Of Loveâ celebrates free love, free radio and free spirits against a violent backdrop of protests, riots and social revolution. Itâs not saying anything that hasnât been said before but it provides a solid entry point to some of the issues of the day. I feel this film's greatest asset is its wall-to-wall pop soundtrack which highlights the cross-pollination of musical ideas and cultural styles that shook the arts world in 1967.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
