Any fans? Favourite players/moments?
I regularly play tournaments at the local casino (never come close to winning though).
I'm kinda addicted to watching YouTube voids now.

Any Phil Hellmuth blowup. Theyre hilarious.
Or Mike the Mouth crying when he got eliminated.
Or that one guy (IM sorry I forgot his name) making it to back to back final tables, only to come in 9th both times. (NEWHOUSE!!)
The saddest was Daniel getting so far, the man is so talented. Him being ahead and the river takes him out, it was like letting the air out of a balloon. (He did get eliminated by the winner, he went out in day 2 this year along with Phil)

Still shite! I thought you weren't supposed to show the winning hand after your opponent folded?

Slow rolling - what a douche.
Helmuth's blow ups are good, some old school Matusow is better.

Still shite! I thought you weren't supposed to show the winning hand after your opponent folded? I wont lie, my guilty pleasure is poker, especially Texas Hold em. I also love Razz, but man it's an irritating game, I like it though. NO POKER ISNT FOR EVERYONE, I see how some think it's like golf. As for showing the hand, depends. Sometimes, showing a good bluff will just wreck the opponents psyche and put them on tilt. It all depends.

I would rather be stabbed 56 times by a homeless crack addict than watch a single hand of tv poker.

If you actually want to watch poker and not just blow-ups, watch seasons 3 to 6 of high stakes poker. That is real poker for ya.
Also check out the world series of poker final table today! Go John Hesp!

Those were good programs. I actually preferred poker after dark the cash game. That had high stakes games and all the table talk. Not that I don't like Gabe's commentary, but the table talk is good. My gripe with tv poker was that I wished they'd give us a variety of games. After awhile I got so sick of no limit holed'm I couldn't watch anymore. But for some reason people just didn't like to watch the other games or it was too hard for them to follow.

Yeah, I've been watching Hesp. Just goes to show that anyone can win it (anyone who can afford the $10,000 buy-in). Two Brits on the final table.

Poor bugger got cooled with two pair to a set. Good players would have lost less, but he was still pretty unlucky.

Hesp made it fun.
Ott could sneak it despite Blumstein having all the chips.

Western New Yorker Bryan Piccioli finished 5th. I didn't know until I heard him talking about St. Bonaventure.
