I don't know why you set your expectations at 400 domestic and then claim it's disappointing. It just sounds like you disappointed yourself for having those expectations in the first place. And foreign markets don't bail them out, they are every bit as equally valid. If anything, the domestic market bailed out WW if you really want to start parsing it like that. Again, I'm not sure why you're looking at it from any of these angles, because none of them really make any sense. Arch... the domestic market is where the money is at. Studios and distributors would rather see a film perform better domestically than internationally. They make more money that way because they get a larger chunk of the profits. It makes perfect sense when you think about it, considering they have to share the profits with foreign governments etc. I'm not saying the foreign market is not important, it is, but you're not seeing the bottom line. Spiderman:Homecoming is a disappointment in terms of domestic box office. Why do you always hear everyone say that BvS was a disappointment? It grossed almost 900m worldwide. That doesn't sound like a let down to me but yet the movie is still deemed "a disappointment." It is the same situation with SH. BVS was a disappointment due to how little it made overall, people expected BVS to do a billion easily, some even thought it could go as high a 2 billion, so the fact it didn't even break $900m doing over $100m less than what was being predicted to be it's minimum is why everyone see's it as a disappointment, even though it did make money for the studio.
SMH wasn't being expected to do $2b, hell Sony may not have even been considering it to do $1b, so doing $800m+ isn't a disappointment especially after what TASM2 did and this being the 3rd reboot in just 15 years.

I still don't know what you are talking about. But, thanks for the reply. King Kong Brady is just trying to bullshit as usual. The bottom line is that RT has Wonder Woman rated as the best superhero movie of all time: 50 Best Superhero Movies of All Time. That list is ever-changing, WW's place there won't last.

It's all about expectation.
You expected BvS to gross over a billion dollars and be hailed as one of the greatest superhero movies ever made. It failed on both accounts. Miserably. You must be disappointed about that.
You expected SMH to fall short of WW, both critically and at the box office. SMH exceeded both expectations. MCU fans are happy about that. This isn't rocket science*, cupcake.
* or even high school math.

This post is humiliating now because Homecoming is now the second highest grossing Spider-Man movie.

It's pretty obvious that your little list is seriously flawed.
Explain how Logan beats The Dark Knight when TDK has a higher percentage of positive reviews (reflected in the Tomato-meter score), a much higher average rating and a higher number of total reviews. What mysterious "Bayesian" element catapulted Logan over TDK for no good reason? ... You have absolutely no clue, do you, cupcake.
A little advice ... Don't just blindly accept everything you read on the internet, sport. People might start to think you're really stupid.

I kept track of these score for a few weeks a month or so ago and the adjusted score kept on changing despite the number of reviews and votes remaining static...I have no idea how that can happen.

Wonder Woman has to be the most overrated movie of the year and I actually loved it. It is good, that is all. People are acting like it is some genius movie that should get Best Picture nomination! Give me a break. It is an okay movie. I know the DCEU makes terrible movies so this is a huge step up, but I put it on par with GOTG 2. Movies like The Dark Knight and The Winter Soldier piss all over both those movies.

True. They freak out. LOL. Thanks for reviving this thread! It’s always a hoot to re-read the dumb things some folks have said. SM:H is a “flop”! $880 million box office. WW is #1 because of the RT adjusted score! BP is now #1 because of the RT adjusted score. WW will be #1 for a long time! Lost the #1 spot to a MCU movie within 6 months. The MCU keeps flopping! Four additional movies within the last year or so. Well over $4 Billion at the box office. As for MCU fans being able to handle flops, that has yet to be seen. They certainly don’t have the same amount of experience as DC fans, that’s for sure!
