I know people who eat Rocky Mtn oysters. I wouldn't not try them, but not into organ meat.
I would eat the octopus. Only looked at the first link. Tarantuala might be ok. I've held a live one, and I'm deathly afraid of big-bodied smaller spiders. Tarantulas seem more like furry rodents.

India has the worst cuisine. There is nothing palatable about it, it smells abhorrent and tastes even worse.

RIP IMDb
Is my cousin Ceil's lime Jello cottage cheese salad on your lists? I was going to suggest that that would at least crack a top 20 list.

maya55555 Aunt Margie made Lime Jello Cottage Cheese and Canned Fruit Cocktail and she brought it to EVERY pot-luck meal.

Whaaaat? You know somebody that makes that dish too? If that happens to me I will say I am allergic to cheese. Is it possible to be allergic to lime? Gotta cover all bases just in case.

JaymanIt was a classic "pot luck" offering in the olden days of Jello "Salads". There is a cookbook called "The Joys of Jell-O" chock-a-block full of such culinary delights. Some of then are actually pretty darn tasty. They just look kinda nasty.

OH my goodness a whole book of things like that! lol I'll give you the benefit of the doubt if you say some of them are tasty. I try all kinds of different foods but I just do not have the courage to take that kind of a plunge.

Have you tried Ceil's cooking?

JaymanThey used to make a "celery" flavored Jell-O to use with carrots or coleslaw fixin'n included. My mom used to like those. They were "ok". The lime jello and cottage cheese actually is not as bad as it sounds. OK ... weird sounding but good. Made peach and raspberry jell-o the other day. Two flavors NOT mixed. Had some of each and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. Actually surprisingly good. They serve whipped cream with Jell-O so why not ? Never had it like that before. So brave, trying new "foods" !

maya55555 No on Ceil's cooking other than the lime and cottage cheese. Should I be afraid, very afraid ?

I would, because if you do not try it she will give you that Vulcan Death Stare thing that she does and you will never receive another invite for dinner. (THANK GOD)
BTW, her ragu sauce is so bad that as an Italian, I would rather use ketchup on my pasta. We are all Italians.

maya55555oh no ! Not the Vulcan Death Stare !
Funny(ish) Pasta story. Cousin serving pasta accidently served home canned (unlabeled) Salsa on the Spaghetti with HOT Italian Sausage. NOT good.
