Your link is a loop. That said, I knew who won Worst Picture and BvS has many problems and is not a good movie, but it has parts that are better than the whole. Snyder has always known how to do an action scene even if the action makes no sense and BvS had some of the best action scenes of the year.

tpfkar I don't understand the hate. I don't think it was any worse than any comics interpretation and liked it more than Civil War.

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
Was that for Kevin Costner's accent or the godawful theme song? I enjoyed the film, Alan Rickman was his usual brilliant self.

Indeed it wasn't and the Blu-Ray extended cut made it actually, IMO, quite good.

I agree about Luthor, completely miscast and poorly scripted.

tpfkar Civil War was clumsily strung-together clumsy action sequences. Batman having a hardon for the alien that brought carnage made more sense to me than Stark going at Bucky for something somebody had done through him that he could not control. And Luthor was ever the insane psychopath. BvS did a better job than CW did with Cap and Iron Man of making me believe that Batman could almost fight Superman, especially considering the Kryptonian's still relatively fresh naivete. And all of the main characters in comic books have been through countless iterations, and none of the movies have been sticklers for any particular era. BvS I want to watch again. Can't say the same about Civil War.

Just not bothered about seeing it again.

However, there was very little that was clumsy about Civil War. It was one of the tightest super hero movies I've ever seen. Everything made sense and that is coming from someone who hasn't really loved most of the Marvel Universe movies.
That said, construction is not as important as exhilaration coupled with proper characterization which is something BvS failed at miserably in addition to construction. Superman didn't act like Superman and Batman was an idiot for going after Superman. It was the epitome of clunky that is made more unforgiveable by the notion that the extended cut ran smoother.
It was very much Sucker Punch with a bigger budget.

In your opinion, on which we differ, hey one man's meat and all that.
and Batman was an idiot for going after Superman.
You think? I disagree, and the many comics written that do just that, in particular The Return of The Dark Knight, would disagree.
