The scientific authorities say homosexuals make better parents than heterosexuals. How long until they insist transgenders are better at giving birth than cisgenders?
Think of all the resources/carbon dioxide wasted on this. Wouldn't they have been better spent finding a way to prevent transgenderism? It's a very expensive disorder to have, and preventing it might involve cleaning up our environment, a win-win for most people, but a lose-lose for certain vested interests.

The scientific authorities say homosexuals make better parents than heterosexuals. Can you provide some evidence for that?

It's not expensive to have the disorder. It's only expensive to have surgery etc. But that's only because of the fncked up way that we've structured our economy. That's what needs to be fixed.

. I don't understand why a person who identifies as male in a female body would get rid of everything associated with the female body but keep the womb? Surely removing the womb would be one of the procedures sought. Can the baby be breastfed?

Yea I saw the headline on Facebook...and I read a dozen or so comments...I think only one of which was in any way positive or supportive.

As with everything else, different people are different. Then why is this news? Female who underwent body changes to transition to a man kept her womb and had a baby. What is the fuss about? Are we supposed to think a man had a baby?

Probably depends on the individual. As with everything else, different people are different. Then why is this news? Slow news day, "human interest story" We have far more mundane stories on our local news sometimes, and I'm in New York City.

Slow news day, "human interest story" We have far more mundane stories on our local news sometimes, and I'm in New York City. Iit kind of is a sad story. People's confusions being exploited for media clicks or whatever. Perhaps even this story does a disservice to the transgender agenda. Makes it look more like the transgender person is confused about what having a male body entails. If the person wanted a body with a womb then what made them believe there was a man trapped in their female body? The psychological and chemical effects on this parents body.. well I hope the person is taken care of. Does the person identify as a birth mother or father now? They might identify as birth father but there is no escaping the truth that they are the birth mother. Will this cause even more confusion for the parent and child? Loads of unanswered questions the article doesn't even address .. And if it was a slow news day you would think they would have had more time to put a bit more effort into writing the story.

Sorry, I added a bit more to my previous post in advance of seeing your reply. You might be right they might not look confused. Doesn't mean they are not though. Judging on one pic of kids celebrating in North Korea I'd think they were the happiest kids on the planet.

We can hardly peg their emotional state better than they can.

From the article: "Reese, who was assigned the female gender at birth, posted a video in March explaining his decision to carry a baby as a transgender man."
No: If Reese was able to get pregnant, then Reese was not "assigned the female gender at birth". She was born female, no matter how much she insists that she "always felt male" or some such.

It isnt impossible. But I'm not so arrogant as to say I know the true state of their minds from one pic. Nor am I so naive to presume that because a reporter painted a happy family version that that is the reality either. I'm not judging the people. I'm expressing my concerns and trying to better understand. For instance how does the parent identify: as a birth father or mother and how does this effect their sense of self?

The more I think about it the more I am finding myself coming to the conclusion that this person is a female who is very confused about the reality of her female identity.
