Nope. Marvel's sales are way down. Which has nothing to do with them realizing the other characters are just as good as the X-Men. Numbers were bad when they were promoting the X-Men. If anything, promoting the X-Men is what eventually led to the poor numbers. Nope, it's the opposite.

If anything, promoting the X-Men is what eventually led to the poor numbers. Nope, it's the opposite. The X-Men being overexposed to the detriment of all the other characters is what led Marvel to the nasty spot it was in during the 90s. The nasty spot it still hasn't recovered from. If they'd been more egalitarian and realized the X-Men weren't the core of the Marvelverse this wouldn't have happened. In a way, the X-Men led to the bankruptcy. Of course, I can't be too upset. That led ultimately led to Disney buying Marvel and the greater MCU, with the rest of Marvel getting the proper respect after 40 or so years. The X-Men's days of glory are gone, and good riddance. Now REAL characters are getting their due.

Still are doing damage, and the MCU is busily trying to undo it all. It's a bitter pill but it's reality.

The notification reader says otherwise, so now we can add stalking to your list of activities. But yes, the X-Men have always done Marvel more harm than good. And now that's being remedied.

Nah, they're bleeding readership. That's been happening for decades, thanks to the X-Men. They bankrupted Marvel.
