I like the Terrigen Mist concept. It IS more inventive than the X-Gene. It's stupid! It's more inventive than the X-Gene.

Says the guy who didn't read the storylines the films were based on. ![](https://s26.postimg.org/7r8xnn0k9/roll.gif) Nice attempt at changing the subject. The films mangle the X-Men storylines so much that the comic books they're based on are a complete non-factor. And I HAVE read them. Nice try, though. Really, you've been read X-Factor's Horsemen of Apocalypse, Psychic War, and Target X?

You have my answer in my above response, and that is the last I am willing to follow you on this asinine thread. Guess what? Trying to turn this around on me will not change the fact that all of the X-Men films have horribly mangled the storylines they're based on and they are being made by a basket of incompetents who don't care about the material.

Nothing you've said disproves a single damn thing I've said about the X-Men films. No, I know the name of Weapon X. I just blanked on it. We all do it from time to time. So again, your pathetic attempts at deflection fail to actually pose a point or argument. F-, kid.

It's more inventive than the X-Gene. Nah, it's less. What's more creative, a random gene giving random powers or a society built around ancient crystals that everyone must be exposed to as a coming of age ritual even if this means turning into a monster and then having to figure out what you'll do with your life from then on? X-Men wishes it could put this much thought into itself. As opposed to Holocaust exploitation.

If you're a lazy writer. X-Men wishes it could put that kind of thought into itself. Nah, X-Men is an allegory and has never been appropriate than now. Unless you wish Bryan Singer personally gets rich enough to buy a boatload of underage boys, then you're a Nazi.

X-Men's always failed as an allegory when analyzed properly, and by doing stuff like exploiting the Holocaust when there's no similarities between Mutants and oppressed Jewish people is effectively an admission. Bringing in the Holocaust is one of the lamest ways of getting the point across, Hollywood even makes fun of it.

I think I'd go with Sinister and The Marauders implementing the Mutant massacre story line a bit for the movie. Play on the fact that a lot of mutants have hid under ground because of how they look while others like the X-Men have been able to mostly hide in plain sight because they look normal and all. Which would explain why there hasn't really been a presence of mutants so far in the MCU. Or you know, maybe Scarlett Witch does a reverse "no more mutants" type of deal and ends up creating them instead in the Infinity War somehow. Either way this would be my cast of characters. In my casting the X-Men are older as I don't want them all being kids and such. I have Kitty and Bobby being more the kids of this group while the main X-Men are represented as being a bit older like 28-32-ish (except for Beast who I'm mostly just using for voice acting here but he could just as easily be an older character if given some scenes without his beast form). Also I'm keeping away from Wolverine, Magneto, Stryker, Mystique as imo we all need a break from some of these characters. So I'm going with ones that either are main stays (Charles, Scott, Jean, and Storm) or ones that I feel haven't really been represented correctly on film. Also going with some that haven't been used at all. X-Men
Charles Xavier - Stanley Tucci Scott Summers - Richard Madden Jean Grey - Olivia Wilde Storm - Lupita Nyong'o Beast - Jeffrey Wright Rogue - Mary Elizabeth Winstead Angel - Luke Benward Kitty Pryde - Hailee Steinfeld Villains
Mr Sinister - Jason Isaacs Sabertooth - Alexander Skarsgård Harpoon - Mark Pellegrino Blockbuster - Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (Don't need him to do much acting tbh) Malice - Bridget Regan (originally had her as Jean but decided to switch and this way she still gets in this movie) Riptide - Diego Luna Scalphunter - Danny Trejo Tweener
Gambit - Garret Hedlund Nice casting, and i like how you chose Sinister as the first villain, tho I still think magneto should be first just to establish him in the MCU. Ideally it makes sense for Magneto to be the first villain just as it does for Dr Doom to really be Fantastic Four's. However much like Wolverine, Mystique, and Stryker I am just sick to death of seeing the same characters every damn movie doing the same exact things over and over rehashing scenes we've scene multiple times by now. If there were to be some sort of X-Men reboot I'd want to shy away from those characters and I'm going with characters that I feel either haven't been done very well (Scott, Rogue, Angel, Gambit, Storm, Jean to a lesser extent because of Sophie Turner, and also to a lesser extent Beast as he was the highlight in a bad movie The Last Stand) as well as characters we haven't seen before which is basically my entire villain group. This is just my own personally idea for it as X-Men Apocalypse killed my future interest in main X-Men installments and I would do as far away from that as I could.

I wouldnt mind seeing a new villain in the first installment.

The Last Stand is only seen as terrible because of the brilliant film that preceeded it, much like Spiderman 3. And its a hell of a lot more watchable than most of the forgettable MCU films. X2 wasn't that great either, it just had no competition so people didn't know better and now it has nostalgia filtering it to make it seem better. Always an excuse with you. Whatever makes you sleep at night.

Ancient cristals as deus ex machina mcguffins are evidently the definition of LAZY and UNCREATIVE writing.
Fun fact: G Lucas originally used the magic "kyber crystal" for Star Wars, but that was dismissed quickly because too lame, overused and generic in favor of the concept of the Force. That was in the early 70s...you can tell Marvel went through creative hell with their central storytelling ideas...

You're an idiot. if you are talking to yourself, that would be quite an understatement. I am pretty sure you have no idea what the term "idiot" really means. Lest we forget, you are the guy who :
- continously fails to understand what the term "objective" means (like in: "iz an objectively bad franchise/movie etc") and where it applies properly (not in opinions) - claims that Shakespeare never wrote an original thing, and NO author "ever wrote something original" (classic self projection of a Brony fanfic writer btw) - thinks alien life has already been proven to exist, but no intelligent life can exist (classic self projection too; my 12 year old sis is more educated btw) - demands to reboot the DCEU and X-Verse so to "improve" it by adding My Little Pony, LotR and SailorMoon magic like with the MCU - relentlessly foul mouthed Poe's Law victim
And we both know this is just the tip of the iceberg. Thank you for you unwaivering propensity for low effort thinking, weirdraptor.
