Here are my thoughts, and each company has some pros and cons:
Pros for MCU - Their costumes are pretty practical. The MCU is very good at making costumes that don't look out of place in the hero's everyday lives despite the fact that the costumes can be pretty colorful and absurd. Just look at how well Captain America's costume is able to fit in during Age of Ultron. The costumes also have that worn and used feel. You can see dents and scratches, creases and dirt, you see that they're actually being used. This is something that DC is bad at. Their costumes always look so pristine, even after numerous battles. Their costumes also kinda stick out, which I guess can be a good thing if you want attention but it just feels unnatural. The MCU is also able to make sleeker armor. Look at Thor, Loki, Black Panther even Ironman's costume. Then compare that to Batman's armored costume, Flash, Aquaman, even Bale's Batman. The DC costumes all look so heavy and bulky and hard to move in.
Pros for DC - Their costumes look like they're made of higher quality materials. Some of the MCU costumes look dull and made from cheap material (Cap's costume in Avengers, Dr. Strange, etc.) whereas every one of DC's costumes look like they're made of high-end material (ok maybe not Flash's). They're also better at enhancing physique. Look at how slim Thor's armor makes him look and compare it to how Superman's and Batman's suits emphasize their physique. DC is also not afraid to give their females more racy attire. Wonder Woman, Enchantress, Harley Quinn... whereas the MCU is covering up their ladies with some pretty drab clothing. I don't mind that the clothes are modest, but MCU doesn't seem to be putting much effort into female costume design.

Aquaman and The Flash don't. These don't look similar to you?

So do the DCEU ones.To answer the thread....it's a good question actually. Both have done a great job with costumes. Maybe the dark colour palette makes it harder to see the DC ones though. They both have some that look better than others. I couldn't really pick one over the other. My favourite though is the armoured Batman suit. Aquaman and The Flash don't. Looking at The Flash in Justice League he resembles The Flash, you're not going to look at him and think of someone else. He has a bright red suit, a yellow lightning bolt on his chest and yellow wing tips. He looks just like The Flash. Aquaman less so but that's understandable. Just like how Scarlet Witch doesn't look like Scarlet Witch because the costume was too over the top.

MCU. They actually look like the characters they're supposed to be. Except for Hawkeye... His attire in the movies is more in line with his Ultimate version.

They gave Thor his Helmet in the first movie but dropped it for practical reasons, and now he's getting a variant of it in Ragnarok. Cap always had the Star on his suit, so I don't know what you mean. They were ashamed of Thors helmet and Captain Americas bright stripes in Avengers 1. And they're ashamed of Hawkeye face mask which looks similar in shape to Wolverines. Not everything from the comics works well translated to the big screen. The MCU borrows from both the 616 universe and the Ultimate universe. Hawkeye, Thor, and Captain America's costumes in the movies are usually a mix mash of attires as depicted in both universes.

His attire in the movies is more in line with his Ultimate version. Still no mask or helmet, though. ( which is what Ghost Ackbar really wants )

Only an idiot would use a behind the scenes photo as evidence of anything in this discussion.

It is true that Captain America looked pretty goofy in The Avengers, it was the helmet that was the problem.
It was the lack of chin strap I think.

I kind of like the DCEU costumes a bit more, there's a combination of "pulled straight from the comics" and re-imagining that i've enjoyed so far, for example Batfleck's BvS suit, it felt like they took it right out of TDKR, but The Flash suit feels quite different from what I've seen over the years, and I'm down for a new twist, not saying because it's different that it will work (like Routh's Superman Returns suit), but change it up.
also like the fabric materials they've been using in the DCEU.

Well it was also pretty bright too, not very militaristic either. It looks passable without the Helmet.

Good points. Superman's, Batman's and Wonder Woman's suits are all nicely done. Staying true enough to the comics but giving it a more modern twist plus using higher quality materials. Aquaman's has the same features but I just feel like it looks too bulky and heavy.
