Did Pod ever come back after walking off with Bronn at the beginning of that meeting in the dragon pit? I only saw the episode once. I can't remember myself. Will have to rewatch the episode again. lol. But I assume that was consistent with Bronn's nature of not being among elitists during serious discussions. Most probably Pod will stick to his duty as a squire and not leave his lady. It's interesting that his cousin was the executioner of Lord Stark but he didn't receive any ill will from northerners. Seems that he has a very acceptable personality and disposition. It was consistent with Jerome Flynn not having any scenes with Lena Heady.

If the leaks are corect, he will save the day in the battle against the Night's King...hence I guess at least some troops will join him. He is their commander, Cercei rules through force/fear only, and he didn't left their side even when Drogon was putting them under fire.
Ceasar became dictator because his men rooted for him, not for the law, not for the senate, not for the republic.

I've like Jaime since season 3 or so. Season 1 he's a dick and season 2 I can't recall much. When Brienne starts escorting him to KL I start to like him. Jaime has always been an odd one for me.
I should hate him as much as Theon since I apparently don't have much time for redemption arcs of horrible people and he tried to kill Bran (Speaking of which, I wonder if they are going to see each other next season...), but I think he winds up being one of the most complex characters in the show and the book even from season 1.
Ned showed so much disdain for him killing the king plus he clearly had daddy issues that I've probably always had a soft spot for him...& then he goes and kills his cousin.
Well, on that note, what separates Jaime and Theon for you? You mentioned Jaime had daddy issues, which Theon seemed to have his fair share of.

I agree and I also liked his bravery on the battle field.

He won our hearts finally. Can he rally some Lannister troops with him? Probably not because he is not formally the head of Casterly rock. But anyway it seems like he is heading north himself. I've liked Jaime ever since I found out why he killed the Mad King.

He's a better character and more likeable character even when being horrible. Theon is a plot device that changes with the winds of the plot. I think the actor just fine. I think he does a good job changing from Theon to Reek and all that, I just wish the character were dead by this point. I didn;t even like his storyline this season.

Cersei is not a forgiving woman. No, but there is only one Jaime.

Jaime still commands the Lannister forces as far as I know. He is the head of the Lannister family now that he is not in the King's Guard. Cersei is technically a Barathian and Queen of Westeros.

They were entirely for season seven. And it doesn't mean any drivel people put on the Internet will be for S8. You can't see the difference and I'm not surprised.

Fistly: I said IF they're correct, and secondly: the source has so far proven to be reliable. But we will see in about a year if you are worthless scum or I'm a "drivel person". Jaime will talk with Edmure and - against all odds - they join theirs forces and ride North saving the day when Winterfell is about losing the battle...Tormund, Bran, Meera, Ghost (wolf), Rheagal(dragon), Podrick and others killed. Dany pregnant. Stroms end taken by teleport Euron. Sansa and others evacuated to the Vale (including Arya). Jaqen pays Arya a vistits telling her that she owes the faceless god a dead: Cercei. The leaks for the last season were 100% correct. Cercei will face justice. But you neither have read the books nor seen the 7th season...so you opinion does not count anyway.

As opposed to dimwits of your sort, I can draw conclusions from things I read about the show without watching it.
