If you didn't ignored the rest, then why don't you point out exactly what you disagree with. I didn't ignore the rest, I just didn't find it convincing or worthy of comment. Too much 'maybe', 'probably' and 'might' for me.

Where do you get that statistic about the rate of homosexuality in the US? Do you think that increased tolerance towards gays may account for the fact that people are being more honest about their sexuality? I got the statistic from Wikipedia - the USA was 5%+ homosexual, and the rest of the world, including the heaven that Sweden is said to be, had 2.5% or fewer... Given Sweden's status as the most wonderful, liberal place on earth (according to one poster here) "tolerance" has little to do with it. Where does it say that Ada? en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_demographics_of_the_United_States

Even though it's obvious that sexual attraction is not a choice (how can you CHOOSE to be attracted to something?), I think the better question is:Why the hell does it matter? Even if millions of people decided to be gay (which doesn't happen), Why would anyone care??! I don't get it..but maybe I'm from a different generation?

This question is just worded so awkwardly.

It seems to be something that can be influenced but not decided per se.

I don't get it..but maybe I'm from a different generation? Exactly. People should be allowed to make and exercise whatever consensual decisions, lifestyle choices etc. that they like.

Too much 'maybe', 'probably' and 'might' for me. So unless scientists come together and make an unqualified statement of absolute assurance that homosexuality is genetic you won't be "convinced" by any scientific evidence that it is? Right, that's not confirmation bias at all. You have "no comment" on the research showing how the brains of heterosexual and homosexual men differ? You think this has nothing to do with sexual orientation? Mind offering some plausible explanation as to why they would differ if homosexuality was just a choice?

You mention a source but do not link to it. If I remember correctly you were embarrassed the last time this came up when the actual link to the Wikipedia article was linked and it did not say what you think it said. The most recent study shows about 3% for the US and about the same for Canada. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_sexual_orientation

I care about the fact that you didn't answer the question then and you won't or cannot now. Finding links to other articles is a meaningless dodge.

That brain research based on 6 cadavers was refuted in the 1990s. It was 17 cadavers and 16 heterosexual cadavers. However, there are now more recent studies on live brains.

Of course you do not care about links that show that you are full of it. What question? The question why you constantly lie. Again if I recall the link you posted also did not show what you claimed it showed. You simply skimmed until you found the answer that supported and failed to look further. As usual.

So that's you admitting that the links you and Joff have posted were not to the article I was referring to after all? You silly boy, you thin k you can get away with any lies! If the article didn't say what I claim, why didn't you say so back then?
