If not, Lucasfilm also has other people to make sure that the script doesn't go off rails. And if it does, you get fired like Lord and Miller, and Trevorrow.

Sadly, I think 'Justice League' is going to ruin that. GotG2 and SMH already ruined it. GotG2 and SMH were just awful. RottenTomatos says otherwise

I don't think Abrams will get fired though. He's a professional big-budget film director who really loves 'Star Wars'. If anything, 'Episode 9' will probably be a great conclusion of the sequel trilogy that doesn't quite reach the height of the first two.

Every director can make a bad movie. Abrams did a great job with TFA so I'm not worried.

Plus he finished his film without any creative differences, and it ended up being the 3rd highest grossing film of all time. From what I heard, Lord and Miller were fired because they tend to go off script most of the time, which did not please Kathleen Kennedy. And Trevorrow from what I heard was very difficult to work with, which is strange because he didn't have a problem making Jurassic World.

GotG2 and SMH already ruined it. GotG2 and SMH were just awful. RottenTomatos says otherwise Rotten Tomatoes only count when it suits your narrative. For instance, they gave Spiderman and GOTG2 great reviews, but they were paid off and they suck, but they gave Wonder Woman great reviews, so that makes it the best super hero movie ever. See?

Yeah, Trevorrow case sounds rather strange, so we'll just have to wait and see what was really happening back then. You're right about Lord/Miller though. Weren't they also clashing with the writer as well?

Things like fun, joy, and humor all became big no-nos the instant the MCU became popular. thenewnexus better not ever watch "Die Hard". It might just kill him.

Fingers crossed Joss Whedon can fix it. And while we're on the subject of DC films, I can't believe one of the morons that wrote BvS and JL is writing the 9th Star Wars film. 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' was written by people who has a history of writing 'Vacation'. That's why SMH looked like it was written by a couple of kindergarten kids.
Peter's best friend brings a bomb that Peter gave him into the Washington Monument and blows up the elevator, but DHS, FB,a nd DC Police don't even detain him for questioning. Iron Man stops a ferry boat that's split in half from sinking simply by pushing the 2 halves of the boat together.
That's kindergarten-level writing.

No one knew what caused the explosion, so they had no reason to question Ned. In fact, it was probably the X-Ray that caused the alien device to go volatile. And yes, if he undoes the damage that was causing it to sink....it won't sink. It's hardly worse than stuff we've seen in DC movies.

No one knew what caused the explosion, so they had no reason to question Ned. Everyone knew what caused the explosion. Explosions are cause by either bombs or gas leaks. Since elevators don't use gas, it was obviously a bomb. And they know who was in the elevator when the bomb exploded. So that narrows the list of suspects. And when they question Liz and anyone else who was in the elevator, it would be obvious that it was Ned who brought the bomb into the elevator. yes, if he undoes the damage that was causing it to sink....it won't sink. No, you can't "undo" the splitting of a boat in half simply by pushing the 2 halves of the boat together. Only kids in kindergarten would think you can stop a boat that's split in half from sinking by pushing the 2 halves of the boat together.

One word, two syllables: Martha. Now that was some kindergarten level writing.

At it is, it was some random laser beam coming from who-knows-where that no one could trace to Ned. In the end, no one knew just what happened. After all, the elevator was gone and there was no trace of the energy cell. And yes, if you have a bunch of robots keeping it together you CAN keep the boat together. Superman did this kind of thing in his movies.

Because its been established already that DC-Fan and wormhole are enthusiasts about Marvel and their characters and know them better than the company that created them and produces their content every month...*Sarcasm*.
