Oh my God, South Africa have wobbled again, West Indies have struck, Rickelton is out on the stroke of lunch. LOL, hope it is Klaasen's day. Or Mulders. Looks like a really good game brewing. South Africa lead by 138 with 6 wickets in hand.

Meanwhile, Australia bowled out for 480 with 10 overs left today.
Pitch isn’t really playing any tricks, but runs on the board are runs on the board.
Ashwin took 6/91, cleaning up the tail. As usual, his performance was okay but is being lauded by the Indian commentary as something extraordinary.

Another factor most have ignored is that India's top order batting has been largely dog shit this entire series. Apart from Sharma's hundred and Kohli's 40 odd they've looked completely at sea.

Looks from the score that Gill and Rohit are pretty untroubled reaching 0-36 from 10 overs. Moving Day tomorrow

Fantastic knock by Bavuma.
RSA were in a bit of trouble at 5/100 odd and a lead under 200.
But 171* from skipper is classic leading from the front stuff.

Shubman Gill joins the century party. His 2nd in tests and he's already scored an ODI double at 23. How many runs is this guy going to get by the time he's done?

Looks like a draw in Ahmedabad unless Australia absolutely butcher their second innings batting.
3 overs prior to stumps on Day 3 and India are 282/3. Still trail by 198 though.
In Joburg, RSA are crushing the hapless Windies batting. WI 84/7 still needing 300 more to win on midway through Day 4.
In Christchurch, SL let their definite advantage slip with 2 fantastic counterattacking knocks by first Daryl Mitchell (102) then Matt Henry (72 batting 9) saw NZ get a lead of 18. SL are 83/3 stumps Day 3, a lead of 65 - both sides well into this one, and another 3 results possible final over may just happen.

Another class batter hits an excellent hundred to set up a game for his team. Angelo Mathews 115 helping to set NZ 285. Could be a great finish brewing there.

There is a chance here of an Indian collapse much more than 2nd innings Aussie debacle. Australia should bowl tight and India will lose wickets soon.

King Kohli hits a big hundred to ensure Australia are the only team who can lose from here. Was only a matter of time. He looked great and was in form but just kept getting out.
Also not helped by India becoming the hardest place to bat on earth over the last 4-5 years.

On the T20 front, Bangladesh are on fire, England floundering at 63 for 4 after 10. Meanwhile, in Ahmedabad, King Kohli rules.

And on Smudge; some ridiculous commentary during the week. Smith is making it pretty clear that he's not Allan Border, Ricky Ponting or Sachin: he's not going to keep going long past his use by date for the sake of playing or chasing records. He's going to retire at his peak or at least when he's still a good player. He's completely reworked his batting stance and technique in the last 6-12 months: does that really sound like someone who's retirement is imminent?
He's basically saying that he's 33, doesn't want to hang around forever and his expiration dare will probably be before 2027. This is not shocking in the least.
