Is it better than "The Night Of"? Haven't got around to watching it yet... probably start it this week. That being said, there's no f*cking way it's as good as "The Night Of".

Is it better than "The Night Of"? Both are equally great.

You haven't seen anything, you sadly pathetic little moron, lol! There's nothing "lmfao" about my favorite tv show list, as you most probably have never heard or seen half of those shows, so my opinion about "Big Little Lies" is actually an excellent endorsement, unfortunately for yourself.

Is that the show with all the chicks jogging on the beach or whatever? After watching ten minutes of that mind numbingly shitty Girls I decided not to make the mistake of watching a chick centric HBO show again. Although I did enjoy The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency. Can BLL be enjoyed by a real man or do you have to be "sensitive" to enjoy it?

It's dark? Cool. Did not get that from the promos at all. It looked like a lighthearted women bonding kind of thing. So it's not like Girls at all then? Here's a suggestion for a new show that is very entertaining that started tonight on Cinemax.
Mike Judge Presents: Tales From the Tour Bus. It's an animated show with first hand accounts of true stories about how decadent and violent and bat shit crazy country music stars were. Don't let the country music part scare you off. I'm not a fan either but trusted the Mike Judge brand and was amply rewarded. Lots of coke and alcohol fueled mayhem in the pilot. One of the funniest new shows I've watched in a while.

Haha, nope. The promos don't do it a lot of justice. "Big Little Lies" is fairly dark with its depictions of domestic violence & sexual assault aftermaths. But the show has a sense of humor... it's kinda funny in a dry sort of way in spots. You should check it out. Maybe you might be surprised.
I'll keep my eye out for "Mike Judge Presents: Tales from the Tour Bus." Never heard of it until you mentioned it but it sounds intriguing with the reviews.

It was fantastic ( up until a rushed conclusion in the final episode )

The conclusion was not exactly rushed. More like a bit cliché and it seemed a little too convenient. But with everything that lead up to it, I guess they needed a happy & sappy semi-fairytale kinda ending. I wonder what they'll do if there really is a second season.
