STD's or pregnancy have nothing to do with health??? I said that not being concerned with protecting yourself against STD's is stupid. Having unprotected sex with a stranger, promiscuous or not, IS stupid. If you feel shamed by that, you have some serious issues. You shame me because you're flaming me for expressing my personal views on promiscuity in public. Again, I didn't judge anyone, I didn't say I'm morally superior, I even said they can do whatever they want. Except as I keep pointing out, promiscuity does not equal unsafe. That seems to be only your hang up. Let it go. That's not the same thing. No one is saying have unsafe sex with dozens of people.
But then wouldn't that be your fault? As you've pointed out, it's stupid to not know the sexual history of your partners. Those were your own words. And I have no idea why you keep pointing that out. In response to Terrapin saying that my main concern should be curing STD's, I said that as long as STD's aren't cured, people shouldn't act stupid, like having unprotected sex with a stranger. It wasn't even about promiscuity per se. I actually didn't say that was stupid, but yeah, not trying to find out the sexual history of your partner is not smart. But the thing is, people are not always honest. And the more people you sleep with, the higher the risk of meeting a dishonest person.

Heck, there are dental dams available.

The 3rd annual slut walk took place last week. My local cal gym offers pole dancing for women as exercise. I’m sorry, I don’t mean this in a negative way but this is why America hasn’t elected a female president. Women need to be ladies. You can call it liberating or whatever you want to Dress it up as, at the end of the day it says “we are nothing more than sex objects for men” Now that may not be your intention, but average Joe Blow is going to see it that way. Until women act dignified as a whole, this perception won’t end. What if men had a Pimp Walk, and strutted in suits and canes to promote ownership and dominance as a gender? The issue you're raising is at once correct and wrong. The point we're missing is that we don't live in a perfect world because if we did these issues would apply equally to both genders. But in our world they don't. We still judge women differently than we do men. A man can still have multiple partners and be seen as cool for doing so, whereas a woman would be seen as being a ho. BOTH genders should act dignified, but we don't.

Whether you're male or female?

Debbie, I'm a heterosexual woman, so stop making advances. Even if I was a lesbian, I wouldn't be interested in you, because you're an utterly insane troll. Have fun with your imaginary wifey Bexxy, though, and be careful not to get pregnant or an STD!

Men create all sorts of silly "manhood" behaviors for themselves just as women do. Some guys won't drink from straws, some won't go to a grocery store except to buy beer, some won't wear pink. My dad used to say a real man does what he wants, not what others want. The same applies to women. My wife works in a male dominated industry, she is respected and has a management position. She has nothing but disdain for women who tell other women how to behave. She used to say, don't talk about liberation, go be liberated.

Whether you're male or female? Oh I agree. Whenever I'm single I'm a big ho and I really don't care what others think of it. Nor do I hold it against any female. My point is that there is a double standard about being promiscuous.

Slut walk is a stupid term. Having one night stands don`t make you a slut. What does it make them, i.e., women? Respected members of society? Pillars of the community? Unfortunately, men receive no stigma from it, though....usually. Except maybe from their Mama, if she finds out.

It is definitely bad for their stereotype, and unfortunately many people do stereotype, but.....there is MONEY in this type of work! And no education needed! Too bad the demand is there. Society is going downhill, ever since it became popular to criticize the Bible's so-called "old-fashioned" standards. It will continue to slide, given mankind's selfishness. All you hear nowadays is, "I have my rights!"

Agreed. Why does it have to make them anything? She's a woman who had sex. End of story.
