Something like this. 'cept they'll give Thor: Fragglerok something comically high like a 96%, because RT. So RT is good when it comes to WW, but bad when it comes to any MCU film? Nice double standard.

That was more the artificial boosting it got from being a mediocre film surrounded by the failures of SS and BvS. Made it looks better than it was. Are you still making this goober of an argument? Yes, cause it's true.

Are you still making this goober of an argument? Yes, cause it's true. it's actually because you only know" artificial boosting" " ashamed of comics" " people only liked TDK because of Ledger's death".. to justify high scores for other movies that are not MCU. Because for a piece of shit like Antman it's ok to be fresh, but when it's a DC or Fox movie it's overrated

Nice double standard. Touché, although while I've certainly been congratulatory of WW's critical response I don't recall ever actually praising the movie because of its high RT ratings specifically. (I mean, who the hell knows? I might have.) But I wanna say I've been pretty consistently anti-RT because I don't like their formula and think their site distorts the public's perception of the quality of films.

I still remember how when it debuted the RT score was 66% an the DC/Fox fans were screaming in delight. Then when it ended up at 80% they were just screaming.

Well, RT doesn't rate movies on its own. It just collects multiple reviews from a variety of sites and people.

Even more so than IM2 & 3 and Thor2, wich i don't really like. However i can rewatch all those, except Antman, i'd rather watch a spot on the wall for 2 hours

It had a decent message over the poor treatment of people once they leave prison and the reasons one would have for going back to crime afterwards.

I had a similar argument with DC Fan months before BvS or CA:CW came out. I told him that Civil War would be the better movie and it would be obvious. He disagreed, obviously. He also asked how we would even judge quality. I stated it would make more money and get way better reviews. I was right on both counts. I can say with 100% certainty that Thor will be better reviewed than JL. It will not even be close either. Thor will get over 80% and JL will get, at the most, 70%, but I would not be surprised if it got somewhere in the 30s.

It's part of the MCU, do you really doubt it will have humor? i don't think the best comic-book movie of the year should be decided based on how much humor it will have, but that's me. I, for one will not hurry to see Thor 3 on the big screen, and not because i don't like MCU( because i've seen a bunch of them on the big screen), but because i didn't care for Thor 1 and 2

I have always really liked the first Thor. I know I am in the minority. The second one is VERY forgettable though. Not necessarily a bad movie, but not great either.

But Thor 3 feels different than those two. Thor 1 was more than fine to me btw. Thor The Dark World was mediocre at best when Im in a mild mood. I dont doubt it will have humor. And of course that will not be the only reason if its the best CBM of the year. So far to me thats Logan and that one had little humor. But I have high expectations or hopes for Thor 3 and Justice League.

Probably watch at least once all MCU except anything related to Antman

Although I may have a little bit of bias because I saw it opening night on my birthday (Best. Birthday Present. Ever. How awesome is that?), but even if it didn't came out on my birthday, I still would've liked it. Solid 8/10.

This might be the best year for comic book movies, and this might be the first year an MCU movie isn't my #1 CBM of the year since 2011 (X-Men: First Class).
