Both Thor movies are in the bottom of the pack to me. But Thor 3 feels different than those two. Thor 1 was more than fine to me btw. Thor The Dark World was mediocre at best when Im in a mild mood. I dont doubt it will have humor. And of course that will not be the only reason if its the best CBM of the year. So far to me thats Logan and that one had little humor. But I have high expectations or hopes for Thor 3 and Justice League. I appreciate that you are not one of those "only MCU" guys. I'll probably see Thor 3 at home. Probably watch at least once all MCU except anything related to Antman I love the MCU but of course there are some outings that are not so good. Both Thor movies, both Iron Man sequal, Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Inhumans have their problems. Not that I hate any of it but I can see their flaws. I have a lot of love for the X-men franchise but also not all. X1, X2, First Class, Deadpool, Logan are great films. The rest are bad to mediocre. I have my problems with the Sony Spider-man movies. Raimi just made the same mediocre movie thrice. And the ASM duo were really bad. DC... I loved Superman and Superman 2. Batman 1989 was perfect. Same goes for Batman Begins which I consider the best CBM ever. Strangly enough I dont care for TDK or TDKR. TDK made not much sense to me and I couldnt care less for the villain. The DCEU films have me split. Liked MoS very much, BvS was also quite good until Martha happened. That ruined a very nice film for me. SS was a big turd. Not digging Harley at all. MR's acting is really wooden and feels fake. WW was more than fine. I have my problems with it but I will defenitely own it next week on DVD. What I dont get is that a lot of people on both sides of the trench attack each other personally on their taste. It made me leave this board once and it will make me leave again because I dont like it. We are all lovers of CBM's. Who cares what label in on the movie? Respect one another. Anyways thats how I honoustly look at things.

This might be the best year for comic book movies, and this might be the first year an MCU movie isn't my #1 CBM of the year since 2011 (X-Men: First Class). Shame that ‘Justice League’ might ruin it.

i find it amusing how many people are big fans of Taika Whatthefucishisname, like he's the next-big thing You're missing out. Go check out The Hunt for the Wilderpeople. I highly recommend it.

Shame that ‘Justice League’ might ruin it. It can't possibly be worse than Raccoon Turd volume 2 "Sensitive Nipple-Penis" or Spiderboy (lu)vs Ironman, horribly uninspired kiddy fare. Sorry you despise naturalistic dialog and ignore stuff like the discussion on Beauty and Ugliness while clinging to idiocy like "Love will save the world". Or you ignore a GOOD Spider-Man movie that doesn't ignore the fact he's part of a bigger Universe which is a lot more inspired than ignoring the rest of the world. Thankfully JL will remind everyone of the DCEU's trainwreck nature.

LOL, if you deem turd, nipple and penis dialogue naturalistic I am glad to keep you at a digital distance. My spider sense is telling me that did not even make sense. If it's anywhere near the ratings and viewer numbers of Iron Man-fist, Cancelled-Wanna-be-Fox-Men or Defenders, then "trainwreck" would be an understatement.

LOL, if you deem turd, nipple and penis dialogue naturalistic I am glad to keep you at a digital distance. For the characters it is naturalistic. You're the kind of prude who probably thinks it's silly the way the characters in Deadwood cursed. Far better than slop like "Love will save the world". Your Spider-Sense needs tuning. Homecoming bothered putting Spidey in a greater context than the prior movies did. The Marvel comics always had the characters intersecting like that, right back to Spidey's beginnings. Iron Fist was disliked for political reasons (white guy lead), Inhumans suffered from no one wanting to make it but the CEO and Defenders did pretty well considering the poor marketing. They had their BTS reasons, Justice League won't...it'll just be a trainwreck. Seriously, if 2 mini-series and one season of a show are the best ammo you can get, you have to do better.

I'm not a fan as they cursed modern day f***bombs that were not uttered in the 19th century, they said eg "goddamn" "the deuce" etc back then as one of the worst. But the makers wanted modern cures cause the historic one seemed too mild. you're a funny man with your conspiracy stuff. I'm a white guy loving my privilege every day and even I hated this super lame Iron-Boy loser with his lame dialogue. What was it he wailed all the time? "I'm the pretty-suited immortal soldier of love and justice, Iron Boy! In the name of the Iron Fist, I will fist you!!!!"

Figured. And if he'd been a Bruce Lee knock-off you wouldn't have minded. After all, you were fine with slop like "Love will save the world."

Thor: Ragnarok will probably have a score in the high 70s or early 80s. Justice League is an odd bird though. If it's good, I think it'll get solid but not spectacular reviews. Like 65 to 70%; something similar to 'Age of Ultron'. I see major complaints being that it's Avengers-lite or the director switch not meshing fluidly. Worst case scenario is something I think we're all intelligent enough to figure out.

Thor I could see being in the 80's. Justice League I think will be in the 30's. Low 30's as well. If it somehow manages to get above a 40 then I'd be hugely surprised. I'm not knocking the movie or anything, I'm looking forward to it but realistically we all know it's gonna be destroyed by critics.Well, Wonder Woman received critical acclaim, but maybe because it wasn't a Zack Snyder movie. And it was the first halfway decent superheroine film, so they were obligated to go easy on it. Use the exact same script, but have an island full of Greek male warriors, and they'd have eviscerated it for being too derivative.
