X-Men is too mature for Disney. No, just more intellectual than generic Disney. For one thing, Disney would have the X-Men joking around in a light hearted way and bringing in watered down villains and succeed in developing no stakes. Fixed. Literally every X film has covered humans being intimidated by evil mutants.

I personally don’t think there’s any need for them to go to the MCU. The X-Men as a whole are big enough to justify their own separate franchise, and we wouldn’t have gotten films like Logan in the MCU, so I’d personally prefer for them to stay separate. I also realize that that asking this question on the MCU board might very well end up leading to an overwhelming number of votes for “yes”, but this board is much more active than the X-Men board, so I figured I’d ask it here. Yes. SaveSave

Literally every X film has covered humans being intimidated by evil mutants. So act the way they do in the comics, check. Making the villains the stars of the show makes you a lazy storyteller. If the only way to creates "Stakes" is to endanger the world and kill people every single time, it's a lame series. No, the movies always make up excuses to make us sympathize with the mutants. No matter what they do.

So this drowned on the mcu board. seriously why would anyone even vote yes. We want the X-Men to do more with their movies than just the same old "Poor oppressed Mutants" claptrap. Which, at FOX, will never happen. Not even in this "Supernova" movie.

Well this is put to bed. And those who say that Disney/Feige dont care about having them back, they are wrong. X-Men have the best female characters and rogues gallery of villains (other than Spiderman).

As for females...no, theirs are just the most hyped up.

Magneto along with his brotherhood members provide a wide variety of different threats- Pyro, Avalanche, Juggernaught, Quicksilver. All visually would be impressive in battle on the big screen. Then you got Wolverine villains who are iconic aa well like Sabertooth and Omega Red. And the females get developed unlike Scarlett Witch and Black Widow who get sidelined.

Juvenile excursion: That poll result graph actually looks like a giant yellow middle finger towards Marvel Studios. The people have spoken.

This is maybe the one thing we didn't get out of Jackman's run that I really wanted -- a SUPER gritty fight with either Omega Red or Cyber, ideally both. I sort of held out hope that they might do Cyber in Logan, but I was still really impressed with what we got.

Thanos is a recognized Marvel threat. The Brotherhood are defined by power alone, and are sorely lacking in character. Logan's only recognizable villain is Sabretooth, and he's no big threat either. Wanda and Natasha are way more developed than any movie X-woman.
