That pebble/river analogy doesn't hold... uh, water. Enough pebbles and you can create a dam. Big enough rock and you can create other rivers. You can also change the direction of the river, cutting off where it was originally going.

1. As much as I like DOFP, I thought bringing everyone back to life was a pussy move that caters to a segment of the fan base that seems to be able to handle any death whatsoever in this series. Bringing everyone to back to life was the slap in the face IMO.
2. I have personally never seen anyone say that Logan ruined anything..

Bringing everyone to back to life was the slap in the face IMO. It also killed off the suspense of future sequels.
