LOL, you're still wrong. You don't like the way that it was presented/resolved, but you're wrong in calling it pointless. It clearly served a purpose. Even you admit that you know what the purpose was. You're arguing for it being a fact whether something was "pointless" or not. That's not a factual matter. It's a matter of subjective opinion/interpretation. The factual definition of the wordisn't a factual matter? shut up you contrarian asshole.

Even you admit that you know what the purpose was. You still don't understand what I'm saying. The way it was presented (an entire episode devoted to it in the final third of the season) was pointless. It was pointless to waste an entire episode on that plot line when they did. Stop LOLing and use your brain. I'm sure you can play board defender with the best of them, so I'm done here. It's okay to be wrong, fella. Not a big deal at all.

Billy's not cool, he's an asshole and a budding psychopath. Great villain, but he's not cool. The way he offers tips to Steve while simultaneously hating him is brilliant. I would absolutely love to see more of him next season. A guy like that would not be able to let things go. The scene with Karen was hilarious. I never thought I would like Steve either. Christ, you hate him pretty much the entire first season until he shows up with that bat. Now we all love him. He is kind of like Sawyer from Lost. i liked Steve in season 1 Um...why?

The factual definition of the wordisn't a factual matter? shut up you contrarian asshole. The only fact there is when it comes to definitions is that people are choosing to use a word however they are. If there's some consensus about how to use a word, that doesn't make that choice about how to use the word factually correct. It's just a fact that there's a consensus about how to use that word.

I watched some of the Beyond Stranger Things or whatever where they interview cast and crew. I gotta say one of the Duffers seems like kind of a douche. I'm not sure which one he is but he's always arguing with the kids and making sure they know his part of the story is total fact. Seems kind of petty and constantly defensive. Yeah, I got a kind of negative vibe from them in the interviews, too, although I didn't get the impression of anyone else reacting negatively to them, and they would know them far better than we do from that little information. Maybe they just don't come across well in that context, or humor/ribbing/etc. isn't translating well or something.

i liked Steve in season 1 Um...why? he was relatably hurt by Nancy's apparent betrayal and rose to be a hero in the end.

Not as nostalgic as the first, it was more concerned with getting on with the story.
I was surprised that Paul Reiser's character never once betrayed anyone. I just assumed he would be doing a riff on his Aliens character.
The actors had to stretch a littler further as well, especially the kids playing Will and Eleven. I couldn't stand Steve the first season but he somehow became the hero of this season. Nancy needs to dump that boring drip Jonathan and come back to Steve. Great to see Sean Astin here, another highlight.
Billy was very easy to hate, and bratty kid sister Erica needs to be given more to do in season 3.

Just finished, and I love it. Never thought I'd end up liking Steve's character this much, and the soundtrack is even better than season 1. And yes, Billy's cool. That scene with Karen lol. Honestly, Steve is my new favorite character.
